C'mon, John… 20:02 is 8:02 p.m. You know better. But the homeowner was very lucky he wasn't charged. Felonious stupidity.

@HarryRedders says:

Being terrified in your own home does not sound like freedom.

@longjohnsilver3852 says:

Are the home owners mentally incapable of being observative? Pool dude isnt too smart, either but…How do you distinguish this as a threat?… The judge probably shouldnt be a judge.

@duffydon1741 says:

Th bigger question is to ask the wife, has she been fooling with the pool cleaner and the husband found out??????🤔🤔🤔

@SG-dw8jh says:

U can’t turn a coward into a courageous man with a firearm.

@markaliberti8313 says:

Every once in a while I’m reminded why we have certain laws

@TheNecromech says:

the timestamp says what?

@robertoortiz85 says:

20:00 is 8pm !!!! Not 10pm 😂😂😂😂

@matt0chew says:

This is why the developed world has firearms control legislation.

@shaunmcinnis1960 says:

Neither party was very bright here.

@elmojackson6621 says:

Did he lose the right to bear arms? I'm 100% pro guns but, as a Brazilian, I don't know how the law works in the US in this case, and I think this guy is a huge danger to the community.

@gbar2899 says:

If anyone in their home have surveillance cameras please look at it first before proceeding common sense this homeowner should have been charge

@RGTFLA85 says:

2000 is 8 PM. Time stamp could be wrong but time of 2006 is 8:06 PM. I think charges should have happened but he can keep his freedom to pay the pool guy big money.

@DARKCOP2011 says:

Trying to protect your home is one thing but you have to be a complete idiot to just shoot someone who is wandering in the pool area, what is he trying to do ? Steal your pool water?

@woodbeard9861 says:

its always unbelievable why it is legal to posses a ar15 or similar rifle..whats the purpose for private citizens or civillians to have an "assault rifle"??? Its for assault..should be highly illegal like in my country!!!

@KillerOfTheConcreteJungle says:

He definitely at bare minimum shouldn’t be allowed to own a gun.

@BrandonGoad says:

Time shows 8PM.

@WeiFinder says:

I used to go into 20-40 homes backyards per day for years to install internet cables, we never warned anyone of our arrival it was just the job since the phone polls are government property even if they are in a yard.

Anyway it was never at night, and nothing bad ever happened but I'm also in Canada so no gun home defense, but the typical interaction is "hey you want some water or something, bud?" – "I'm good thanks!!"

@beyondquestion says:

2:53… As a former pool technician, if u miss ur weekly check up, the pool can go all bad, if it's out of balance. Even if it flashes it can give ur (private companby) a bad name so, he probably came late, planning to sneak in and out, so nobody would "notice". Stupid thing to do, and I did all my pool service before dark. I Never serviced a pool after 8pm so, 10, I mean, yeah…^^ Had a pit bull situation once, and I lived, with no holes added to me.^^ Bullets, I've avoided them ever being fired at me (at least in pool servicing lol).
O>

@truegret7778 says:

Nope. Should not have been charged. That said, it was bad on the home owner to not have taken a look at his home camera first.
The pool boy should NOT come that late, unless this was a pre-arranged "normal" time for him to be there. People have to understand that a home is a mans/womans castle and you just don't simply walk onto the property.

@julioybarra6863 says:

No. He should not be charged!! Have you seen the news lately??

@stevenkramer1975 says:

I'm just wondering if "texting" or emailing is still a thing? 🤔
WTF cleans a pool in the dark?

@Mrgruntastic says:

Hey man, just a heads up… I was some how unsubscribed from your page. Everyone please don’t get crazy. Might be a fluke and I don’t want to jump to any conclusions but worth mentioning.

@tonyrebel63 says:

This was Florida. They dont charge for this kind of stuff. Personally assuming the dude did not hear my commands. I would have fired one round. I am not expecting a pool cleaner at 10 pm. And if dude knew he was going to be late at least have the courtesy to knock on the door.

@reptarcar says:

Bullshit he yelled at the guy to leave. He couldn't even bring himself to look thru the blinds. More likely he whispered it while sitting in a puddle of his own terror piss. Wat a nutjob.

@randomuser-tu2hj says:

How does the second amendment protect the pool cleaner?

@chimmichurri6940 says:

I think another lesson should be: If you are going to someones home to do work, atleast give them a couple phone calls or ring the bell to let them know who and why youre there. And if you just decide to start working, IDK if he was wearing ear buds in both ears or not, but always have atleast one ear available to listen for whats around you. If he wouldve heard the homeowner then maybe this couldve been avoided. For the home owner, turn on the back house lights or peek through the window before going Rambo on someone.

Jeff Morgan says:

Even if dummy pool guy knocked on my door that late, I would have told him to come back during the day. I don't own a pool, so I don't know if pool cleaning at night is normal. I would not have fired at something I could not ID in the dark. Blindly emptied a mag into the darkness? That's negligent as hell! He doesn't know where those rounds will end up.

@demetriusmccullough3994 says:

At least look at the cameras first wth.

@Grooove_e says:

I think what has shocked me most are how many people in this comment section have absolutely no regard for the 2nd amendment. Stop blaming inanimate objects. Crimes are commited by people, not the tools they use.
