BOB+RAYGUN+PIPE=X-DAY(1995) says:

Is "winging" a burglar deadly force?

COLTON says:

It should be legal to shoot burglars no matter what

Iwillnotnamemychannel says:

Isn't illegal to hunt over a baited field?

Rob M says:

. . .and ONLY because he ran off at the mouth would should he be charged and have to go to criminal or civil court. Keep your mouth shut. Let your lawyer speak for you. Don't know if he had a concealed handgun license or not, but if he did. . .get insurance.

John says:

Sad that the youth of this nation think its ok to steal or burn things down to get what they want. You want something earn it.

Pyro Falcon says:

This is where we need a federal law that protects defenders of property. You get shot while stealing anything, it's on you.

OlympicGing1 says:

I feel like if the defender had instead chosen to take a warning shot (maybe at the ground near the robbers) instead of immediately shooting them, then it would be less questionable. But he should not have shot them unless he either saw them reaching for something in their pockets or they came at him with a knife or something. As a matter of fact, I agree that he could have tried to handle this without a gun if he could. Maybe have his hand on the gun in the holster in case he needed it.

David Richardson says:

There’s no “asking for it “ but criminals do go around looking for targets. It’s not victim blaming. This show is made to keep you from being a victim. Out of sight out of mind . Biggest lesson here keep your tools on you even while cleaning out the shed etc

Chris Yarzab says:

None of my property is worth your life.

Sunset Boy says:

Civil lawsuit coming – hope he's got dumbsheet homeowner's insurance

T S says:

If you aren't committing crimes, your likelyhood of getting shot is much lower.

Zefe Manzano says:

Hey, the comment section wasn't available yesterday.

E H says:

Karl Mech says:

Solution: leave only booby trapped, broken items where they might be stolen by youth. "Not sure why that mower exploded. Wasn't mine anyway."

Shane Trent says:

There is NOTHING legal or justified about this shooting.

Daniel Brakke says:

Thankfully he wasn’t charged?? Naaa bad call to shoot

The Armed Pacifist says:

I see nothing wrong here. It's his house and his property.

sleuth 2077 says:

This whole idea that thieves have rights is just stupid. It's one of the reason we have so many criminals in this country. Stiff consequences is the best deterrent for most people and that's exactly why you should lose all your rights once you choose to commit crimes like these.

Clayton McDonald says:

They should feel lucky he didn't have a shotgun. What do people expect to happen?

flatdaddio says:

How else are they going to buy their school cloths? 😉
