Mike Ridley says:

Whatever country it is a police officer had no choice but to protect himself

robert widacki says:

OK. so I'm here in Estonia and the perp was a mental patient in and out of the hospital and the police here don't have the LIBERAL right to shoot you to defend themselves without PROBIBLE CAUSE. unlike in the states where if you fart and the cop fears for his life he can unload his clip in your ass and at best be fired…..but usually not

Maxwell Henson says:

JAMES COOPER says:

In my home State of California, not only are warning shots ill advised and dangerous but warning shots are illegal: you will go to jail for aggravated assault with a firearm in the State of California if you use a warning shot.

asldigga06 says:

in some countries it's police procedure to fire warning shots before shooting to kill… I know you americans don't like to hear that 😉

Devin Tariel says:

Finns don't fuck around

Kristopher Burt says:

Another tip: if you see cops yelling at a guy with a knife, make sure you don't become their backstop!

Jon Rock says:

Why can't the USA 🇺🇸 👮🏻 Cops stop shooting after the threat is stopped? Why do they routinely empty their clips? Firing 8 consecutive rapid fire shots?🤔
Happy New Year🎊 Jon to you & yours! Can't wait for you & the Yankee Marshall to do a

🎵 They'll Estonia when you're walking on the street….

Eagles_Eye says:

In Some countries police are forced by law to do everything they can to avoid schooting Someone. Which includes warning shots, if they don't work shot to the legg, they rarely get away with 'ending the threat' by killing the person even if it was justified. For example the justice system and the rights of our police officers in the Netherlands is pretty shit. Allot of cops got in trouble after defending themselves with deadly force

Guy Shepard says:

My idea of a warning shot is one that didn’t kill you yet.

Steve says:

Death by Cop dude got his wish

P-stig says:

Backstops, transitional spaces…. this is getting complicated. I'm just going to sit inside my house and fap at this point. The outside world is too dangerous.

Misbizk says:

Police pretty much repeated: "Drop the knife!" One of the guys filming the incident commented: "He actually shot (killed) the man."

It is pretty rare for Estonian police to actually shoot people. This why they are not that experienced in these kind of situations. After that incident police decided to buy tasers for all officers from 2018. They weren't happy with the fact that a person got killed in a situation that could have solved differently.

Future Film says:

you can put warning shots at his legs . it's more effective because not only you can stop him without killing him but also you don't need to worry about where the bullets go

David Navrátil says:

in some countries in eastern Europe police has to fire warning shots first…. we don't have as many crime problems as western world does so we're kind of soft on this

Ronald Swinehart says:

Some countries require officers to fire warning shots.

gena litovkin says:

Estonia used to be a part of Soviet Union. When I was in the Soviet army, we were instructed when you stay guard, to give an attacker at least 2 verbal commands.  1) stop! Who is coming? 2)stop or I'll shoot! 3)a warning shot. 4)shoot to kill…  Looks like Estonia didn't change much.

Lucky38 says:

Both cops now in jail for manslaughter…

xNAJAFx says:

That was not a warning shot, but a miss.

Jim Dean says:

I show my daughter all the best lessons you provide. Thank you for this channel.

Mikk Nigol says:

This is Estonia not US. we dont happend this situation every day and not any year. In Estonia law police must make warning shots and nobody knewed that this guy wanted suicide himself because this is 1st time then this shit happens in Estonia. Mistake was to send police without psychology because was obvious that this guy is mentaly ill and second thing what Estonian police wants to add to his equipment is electric gun.

ryan muro says:

I'm not some SJW fag or nothing but I do have a strong distaste and distrust of the police here in the US, can anybody disagree with me when I say there would have been 30 cops all shooting a mag and a half if this was in the states ?

RikhardLorenzo says:

I also think this makes an interesting case for the 'caliber wars'. Estonian Police use 9mm , and the guy was stopped with a single bullet.
