this won’t work unless you address your neck first. once the grip is on
tight.. you have to address your neck first. you have only seconds before
it’s lights out. The best thing to do its to practice your sensitivity.
Once you feel the arm coming around the neck, you tuck in your chin and two
grips on the forearm that’s under your neck and spin towards the attacker.
There is more elements like how to fight on the ground and strikes. but
Gable grips on the neck is almost a done deal.

Here’s my solution to a choke hold. Shove your arm inside the elbow that is
choking you then leverage out. done. No choke hold. While you’re at it head
butt with the back of your head and grab balls then throw and elbow and
run.
No sifu can handle that.

for rear naked choke you have only seconds to act before unconsciousness
occurs. small joint locks are extremely painful and are able to break the
hold on your neck in less than 2 seconds. explore wally jay’s work in
small circle jiu jitsu.

Best way to Practice is to put Choke etc on for Real [after Learning Drill
fist] then Escape techniques become Conditioned Under More Realistic
conditions coz Most ppl Including B-Belts get Conditioned to Not Actually
be Fighting for their Life & use to Having partner going Along with it ,How
You Train is How you Fight! But these are ok Techniques BUT only if both
similar weight strength & size & just Pressing Trachea would Not Usually
make real Attackers let go best to Strike Hard with Spear Hand or Punch

I believe that alot of these moves( shown on you tube) work in only certain
senerios. Yet practicing these moves and training will reduce your
likelyhood of being a victim . Just having confidence in yourself will make
you less of a target. On top of that having moves in your bag of tricks
will give you the confidence to fight back. Where with no self defence you
may just freeze.

Why would he let go of her neck when he falls? Why not lock it up properly,
and then pull her down with you when you fall? So you end up on the ground.
Still choking her. I guess if you don’t want to choke, then you shouldn’t
have tried to choke in the first place..

Agree with you on the throat push and changing position from RNC but that
push with the elbow probable wont work from what I have experienced.
Because the person applying the choke will move the outside foot to the
rear when you move. I have seen a higher rate of success when you have
moved below their hips and then collapse on top of their calf (best) or
knee (2nd best) and its actually very painful when the full body of any
size falls onto it. Good luck.

The first demo is a good one for sure and is very effective. The second one
however at 1:35 might not work. If the attacker does not release you as
they are falling then you will go down with them and you will be in a choke
hold on the ground.

Not convinced here. I’m ok with driving a nukite into an opponent’s
trachea, but reaching around/over the attacker’s arm to do so seem slow and
risky, he may just start whipping you around, ruining your aim. 2nd one
also bad. Never drops/turns her chin to elbow. Never reached up and grabs
the attacker’s arm/hand to relieve the pressure. Probably would not work
and would get you hurt . Of course, you were going to get hurt anyway so,
if this makes you feel better about yourself, go ahead.

if the attacker is bigger and stronger that the victim; I believe that if
you grab the arm with the same technic on that choke, you prevent him to
break the neck

Sensei, burn your Black Belt, you tell nonsense. All your “technique” works
only when the attacker makes no pressure at all. I show some black belts
in Gym that their “Self defense” , similar to that in this vid NOT helps
and the Black belt was down on the ground after 1,5 seconds. Don’t lay your
hands on the throat of that girl, man, just press hard in the same second
when your hands has contact and that girl, just like everybody else is off
immediately. Same by chokeholds. No blood, air or breathing and its over.
And thats why i say that “Black Belt” and “Championship” is not
automatically qualified for to teach Self Defense. Nice in Dojo for to
impress stupid pupils but worthless in reality.

I agree with the comments that state that this technique is only effective
if the aggressor releases your neck while going down. I tried it here in
the Virgin Islands, on the beach, with my stepson, under the assumption
that since we were on the sand, if any thing went wrong we would be padded
on the sand. Yes I did make him fall, but he took me with him, never
releasing the hold.He landed on his left side. My left side rib cage made
forceful contact with his right side, and now, I’m still feeling the pain a
week later. In reviewing the video, the aggressor clearly releases his
hold by choice, probably to avoid hurting the female.

If I have that small woman in a choke hold and she makes my knee buckle,

Okay the leg trap soe nage throw is not going to work if you can’t get into
a low horse stance and if your attacker is taller and heavier he will just
throw you to the ground while your off balance or pull you off the ground
and hang you. The strike to the throat may not be effective against a hyped
up, drunk or drugged opponent. If you have sufficient reach to do that you
might as well pinch his trachea between your thumb and forefingers and
twist. Except that would be considered deadly force and you might get in
trouble if he was just your friendly neighborhood strangler.

self defense ever taught, everything they do is a practiced scenario and
unless your batman i highly doubt you can predict what your opponent would
