This Buena Park man was just minding his own business, acting lawfully, when an off duty from Buena Park THOUGHT he was breaking the law and greatly abused his authority and misused his pistol. There is a TON to learn here from many, many angles so let’s get those lessons out of this badly handled (by the officer) incident.
I am very pro-LE. I think LEO are some of the best people in our communities and they do a difficult job for little respect and relatively low pay. That said, I am not pro-bad-cop and not pro-abuse, and very much for keeping check on authority.
