I dunno man that’s a monster curb and could high center the rear axle if he went over at an angle, among other potential problems.
Years ago some 10/10 road rager ruined his SUV mashing over curbs to cut me off. The first few times were short curbs then a tall one sent dude bronco status and lights out tires popped etc. Long story short, sometimes the safety of greater-than-average horsepower is priceless.
There’s no replacement for positive manifold pressure.
He most likely had a nice truck that was spotted early on and the cartel was waiting to car jack him down the road. Those trucks are useful down there.
In Mexico if you get caught with a gun the minimum is 10 years. So ask your self would you carry in Mexico? When they have check points throughout the place you visit and they search you and your car very well… so dont take that chance and DO NOT CARRY IN MEXICO… ZERO TOLERANCE WITH GUNS OVER THERE…
Favorite ASP sayings (in no particular order). 1). “You can’t miss fast enough to win a gun fight.” 2). Awareness buys you time, and time buys you options. 3). “Wait your turn.” 4). “He took the room temperature challenge.”
Don't seem like it was a Cartel. It looks like they were trying to stop him so the truck can go through. They were waiving him through and the guy with the white shirt waved at him at the end. I think people are just paranoid and I don't blame them.
If that was the cartel they would have been shooting him as soon as he would have reversed it looks like some street thugs.
Uh, do not go to Mexico.

He was actually in Mexico already if you read the street sign

Extremely embarrassing to have these problems right on the border.
So Cartels are allowed to have weapons in Mexico but Law abiding citizens aren't allowed to have weapons to protect themselves from the cartels?
