"leave your car in gear??" I would bet there are hundreds of severe injuries and tens of thousands of minor ones along with lots of annoying fender-benders every year because of people who do that. Their feet come off the brake as they reach for their order or pass payment and….
I would say one thing about good Samaritan laws and this situation if the white car would have draw and fired there are places that have rules agonist shooting people in the back I believe Texas still has that on there books
Having owned 3 fast food restaurants I can say this is why I always had a gun on me at work. The end of the day I want to be able to protect myself, my customers and my employees. In 5 years I only drew it once and never had to fire it. I open hip carried it and I can tell you that alone is a good deterrent.
