Ill always prefer to use my tools to keep my family out of harms way but our dogs would put their lives on the line to protect us in a split second if it came down to it.
We have a Jack Russell that doesn't miss ANYTHING, and his big little sister is a pitt/boxer mix who is so vicious, when we brought home a kitten a year or so ago she would let it try to nurse on her.
I have a female Malinois and a male American Pitbull Terrier. She died last week.. And he is smart, loyal, sweet, very vocal and contrary to what people may think not aggressive at all. When another male dog comes on the property he just lays still in the grass. The only time I hear him bark sometimes is when there noise at the door at night. He has an injury at his front paw right now, I hope he recovers soon. People should just learn to educate their dogs. I thought he would be dangerous too when I got him but oh boy was I wrong.

I have 2 Doodles, both would serve me up to the criminals for a small taste of peanut butter.
Granddaughter would prefer to see grandfather mugged and maybe killed rather than let the dogs do the one job they're there for.
