ReignSpider says:

They said drop the gun simply as a formality. He was shooting before he even finished say the words " drop th* bang bang bang "gun"

tubbmoney says:

John, I appreciate you and your content first and foremost, but i left the exact same comment on the last video you had to re-do because you cant seem to pick a side. If I believe someone is in my house, i will arm myself. If the cops come and kill me without speaking first, thats on them, not me. You want people to be armed and be ready until the police get involved, then anyone who isnt an officer and has a gun is automatically the bad guy.

Timmy Shore says:

questionable.

responders have no idea what’s going on.

responders don’t know who this is.

Don’t know if this is his home or not.

going in without information is what is called going in naked. ( in my department ).

going in naked and then just blasting away are grounds for firing all those involved.

lawsuits to follow.

🤠👎

Mätes says:

That was wrong on so many levels.

jkromes20 says:

Guy whispered drop the gun to himself before open firing on someone who looks like a home owner defending himself if you didn’t know anything

P Dak says:

This one was sketchy because there was no time given to comply.

Danzo G says:

Pretty disgusting how fast they shot him they should of got on a loud mic and took cover and told him to drop the gun u cant say drop the gun and shoot right away going forward like that with 0 idea of whats going on. not cool and bad policing, its not about what we see and the no reason hes shooting its about the police not knowing nothing and just shooting him so fast.

Western Hemlock says:

So generous of the officers to give him a whole 0.00000002 seconds to comply before killing him

shotgunshell80 says:

4:33😂😂😂

Orlando Heavener says:

This is a bad shoot. Sorry guys. They shot him as soon as they saw him and gave him no time to respond to commands. You guys missed this one.

larry Mc Carthy says:

justified in one sense. he could of killed someone. but police could of said who they were, and ask him to drop firearm. maybe he wouldn't of.

Eric says:

Please, ASP like my comment!

Steve Van Russelt says:

Under the 2nd Amendment it is the right of a mentally ill personal to carry an assault rifle.

Lorin Hardy says:

Drop the gun!! 5 immediate shots, never even gave the crazy guy a chance to comply.

Mr. Lahey says:

God bless America 😂

Edward Pfrommer says:

It in fact was him 😂

Daniel Campbell says:

I thought full autos are illegal….?

Fjäll says:

Luckily the cops were right in this. Imagine If he was the home owner trying to defend?

JesMOpera says:

Book the dead guy

Ricto Ectol says:

This was a Good shoot.

j k says:

Quote from the brother of the guy killed: "The security footage they released today is an edited version that intentionally removes the interaction that Raj had with his neighbor one minute beforehand where he told her there was someone in his house and yelled into his home, ‘I’m calling the police, get out of my house.’"

lemniscate says:

The mum and brother knew he was like this and yet they did nothing and then blame the cops. You can't blame them when it was preventable on the families side as well.

charlyRoot says:

People need to save their gripes for when someone acting like a normal person from before 2009.

TalkingArmas says:

Cops overreacted lmao. What threat was he? Potential? APD is known for overreacting down here. Had guns pulled on me many times growing up just for “fitting the description”. Hearing the victim yell it wasn’t him was terrible. We have gun shots going on here in south Austin plenty of times, cops simply drive along. They never showed up with this amount of “bravery” and “tactic” to handle the REAL loons with domestic violence. 😂 APD doesn’t always sit well with me. The boot lickers drained our funds and took work days from us over a ticket to a vehicle that never belonged to us or had any connection to the owner. When we proved our case and demanded to see the officer who claimed the vehicle was ours, the lady simply grunted “it was an honest mistake just let it go”. Entitled idiots. Those months we had a lot to catch up on in regards to money spent on the right notarized paper work.

Slick 49 says:

saying drop the gun a tenth of a second after firing but made the right call. if you dont give a chance to comply it is definitly on a razor thin edge

Ben C says:

Y'all missed the mark hard on this one according to the news article in your links.

Nothing about it being the homeowner thinking someone was inside

Peterson Conald says:

Untrained police with no information or warning.

Blasé says:

He clearly can see cops roll up… he should’ve had his hands free. This guy was tweakin as far as I can tell. If he’s so concerned about the “intruder” in his house all he has to do is round that corner and he’s safe. He shouldn’t be facing police cars with a rifle in hand. That being said it’s unfortunate but the guy clearly wasn’t in the proper head space or properly trained on firearms

G.E. Fourie says:

For all the years I've watched this channel, I have to say that I totally disagree with you on this one. The cop shot IMMEDIATELY after yelling to drop the gun. You speak a lot about human performance…. why aren't you talking about human performance for the guy who got shot????? He had no time to react to the cop yelling to drop his gun. His rifle was also at low ready. Sorry – this was not justified!!
