If you've watched enough ASP you'd know exactly why it was a bad idea for Fuentes to do what he did. I was actually waiting for John to make a video on this incident because I knew he'd have a lot of problems with it.
It's never a smart idea to leave your house and engage in a physical confrontation on your front lawn, especially if people have recently been sending you death threats. He didn't know if the woman was concealed carrying, she could've drawn a gun and shot him after being pushed to the ground and he'd have been unable to do much of anything in that situation. He also didn't know if it was a ploy to lure him outside where another person was waiting around the corner ready to attack. Strategically, everything he did was very unwise and unintelligent.
John repeatedly warns people against leaving their houses in cases like, instead telling people to stay inside with a gun in a defensive position and call the police. He warns people against needlessly getting into confrontations that will result in an expensive legal battles, because it's a massive loss of your time and money. And he regularly reminds people about using bad or expired OC sprays while recommending one of the channel's sponsors, which is a quality OC spray.
Nick Fuentes broke almost every ASP rule that John has taught us about over the years about how to act and defend yourself, including the one about being a good, sane, sober, moral, prudent person.

We(The Right) cant take the moral high ground by being anti-crime, anti-political violence, and then excuse someone obviously committing a violent crime.
