Why is it so impossible for this guy to manage the saliva in his mouth. He has to stop talking for like three seconds as he swallows like he has a sticky mouth full of peanut butter. Absolutely disgusting and maddening.

I know you read all these comments John and I really like the longer beard. I live in phx too and I can't own a gun, I finally ordered some pom but i'm just going to try and stay out of stupid places at stupid times.
The judgement for the defenders in these comments gives me the ick. John and his team make these videos for instruction and education, not for you to be a keyboard warrior about every little nuance.
I notice a trend in these comments of people being extremely hypercritical, hell… some even calling these officers stupid in replies for how they acted in the heat of the moment and it's like this on some of the other videos too. Bottom line is; we are here to learn and someone good lost their life. When it comes down to it, it's gonna happen how it happens, but for you to sit behind your screen and go on insulting or aggressively judging them for the mistakes that they made is horrible. A child doesn't have a father anymore, and a wife probably doesn't have their husband anymore. I wouldn't trust some of you with a firearm…
This is common in Colombia, criminals disguised as policeman, emergency services, technicians or government employees. This time they robbed an apartment, and the poorly trained policemen just fell into the trap, believing that thay were C.T.I , crime investigation technical unit. And yes, guns (legal ones) are very expensive here, almost a luxury item because of the price and very complicated gun laws.
They rolled right up to them. Mistake #1. Distance equals safety. I've never seen cops roll right on top of any potential perps. They usually leave a standoff distance. There's three , maybe four perps. Two officers for every perp. No less than 8 cops should have responded and in force. They also didn't proper information from whomever called in the complaint. Meaning, that the officer were not expecting to see any alphabets there. They could have checked with other agencies. Sending two officers in on a motorcycle, takes one of the officers out of the fight, as he's controlling the motorcycle. The second officer will have numerous problems engaging on the back of the motorcycle. You certainly can't lock the doors, and you can't run over any of the perps. A lot of bad dept policies that the perps were easily able to exploit. At least two of them are dead and a third is caught.
Cops made a mistake,should have had the passenger get off the bike before making contact with those 3 guys. He could have coverd the other cop if things went wtong.
If there was a robbery in progress they should have been suspicious of everyone in the area. It's hard to believe the back rider didn't keep his eye on the man behind him.
I have been following you for a while now. I dont remember seeing anyone mentioned it. "You have lost weight" just wanna know if you are ok. If so congrats because I know how hard it is it to achieve such victory.
If both cops made the same effort maybe they both could have survived it. I don’t know how I could live with myself watching my partner die in a gun fight while I ducked down waiting for it to end.

I think the second officer was struck by crossfire. I didn't see the perp with him shoot. It looks like maybe he was hit by the first officer.

Man why would they roll up right next to the perps, everyone is a suspect when approaching the area in question.
If the second guy didn’t get a lucky shot, the third guy still had his gun up and on him
Basically, the cops got ambushed.
