A pitbull dog can do permanent and cause bad disfigurement to an adult. If you're not armed fending a dog off will be very difficult, two dogs and you're likely done for.

dark passenger says:

Those dogs weren't false charging him, they were playing for keeps. Same this happened to me, but I didn't have my weapon on me (I live in one of those states). Best I could do was pick up a patio chair and back into my garage.

Michael says:

Dogs were one of biggest reasons I got a ccw. I love them so much but you never know when a stray will mind it’s business or attack

James juffs says:

Didn't understand his location
He dropped his daughter off, was it his home, a relations home, a hotel?

Antique Excavator says:

I disagree that shooting at a fleeing dog is justified. The first shot did the job it needed to do. This isn’t the fault of the dogs but of the owners. I just hope the owners learned a lesson and protects his dogs.

Mike in CO says:

TAPIFFS Threat is down? Accomplices? Partner ok? I – Am I injured? Firearm – Is my firearm still in the fight? Follow up actions- How can I stay safe? Seek help- Are police on the way?

Scott A says:

A through and through wound.
1) Did it continue on to hit the ground and ricochet?
2) If so, where did it go?

T O says:

I know they are bulky but always carry a large fixed blade knife. I've been wearing one for the last few years.
