Thugs see who they believe is a victim, but never realize that person could be someone that will not go down without defending themselves. You don't walk out of a bar after someone with a knife in your hand because you're going to debate like gentlemen and agree to disagree. The thugs didn't realize they were literally bringing a knife to a gunfight.
Imagine all you have to endure after you reach out and draw and send one of them to the after life and you injure two more. Good thing the law got it right in this case and nice glock.

In nearly every state 3 or more ppl attacking 1 person even if they don't have weapons its considered deadly force

The two surviving attackers should be facing murder charges for the death of their partner while in the commission of a felony.
