I wouldn’t get involved in nothing like these because these reasons
1= I don’t know how he’s going to react
2=I have family with me
3=I could get charged
4=he acted to risky
5=is not my problem
6=even if I was prepared I wouldn’t get involved only if I have to for self defense

@rickl.1603 says:

Yeah totally agree I would stay away from situations because it typically ends up bad when we get involved unfortunately

@raw7s784 says:

I guess it was take your daughter to a gunfight day, smh

Okay I don't usually comment here but I gotta say something. In a perfect world maybe you can go over in your mind what you're willing to do to help a female or child getting abused if you're not alone BUT In my opinion until you're minding your own business and BAM you're face to face with a horrifying scene then I think you gotta go with your gut! That's definitely sound advice to try and make yourself a no way line you won't cross if loved ones are with but until you're faced with something terrible I don't think you would even remember your no way line! IMO…great conversation ✌️

What psycho rides a bike with their daughter and a loaded gun in his waistband?

@bengalblitz says:

I think you were kinda hard on this dude. This guy is a friggin hero and a great role model.

Two very irresponsible men.

I drive a 300. Why do so many thuggies drive them damn it!?

@red_fog7615 says:

If you didnt already PLEASE go watch the the clip linked the part after the standoff I think should have been included in the lessons today as it shows what steps he took AFTER a defensive encounter which i think are important!

@anthonysimpson2847 says:

I have a hard time with this one, I do not think I would have been able to not say anything and just ride to the next block and call the cops. I would not have physically gotten involved but I would had said something along the lines of "let her go, I am calling the cops" even if I had my family with me. I think the normal reaction of the abuser would have been to get in the car and drive off with or preferably without the woman. I am very well trained and have a very fast draw and I think that makes a big difference as to if you should decide to get verbally involved and by the looks of it this guy was ready to take care of business if needed. I do strongly agree he should have gone to low ready until 1 the guy was closer or 2 a weapon was produced. My thoughts if I saw this would be this guy may be seconds away from bashing the woman's head into the concrete and the cops are minutes away and saying nothing while being equipped with the tools and training I would feel an obligation to do something if I could and would hate to live with riding off and finding out that he killed her seconds after I decided to wait for the cops to handle it.

Back in the 1950's my father was on annual leave from the US Navy , he was walking down a city street and said a commotion started across the street with yelling shoving and slapping between a man and and a woman at a bar front. A police officer was on the corner and ran to to dust up just as the man was slapping the women again, the officer grabbed the man who slapped the women and shoved him against the wall and began handcuffing him. The women pulled the officers revolver from behind him and shot him in the back killing him. My father was later a witness in the women's murder trial. My dad sat me down and schooled me never get between a domestic fight or involved when drunk people are fighting . Human nature never changes.

I tried intervening in a broad daylight domestic like this about 20 years ago without a weapon or non lethal, got the exact same reaction, except we ended up locking horns

That was a crazy call to make when you have your SO and kid with you, especially when one or both of them are on a 125. You can't fight the law of gross tonnage. It wins every time.

Display of invincibility over and above rather than circumspectly … apparent to few carriers and unconstrained new firearm owners

@turpyturtle8621 says:

Yeah he’s pretty dumb he’s worried about the man walking but when the driver might have a little more reach than him

@capoman1 says:

2:00 Aww. The daughter saying I love you daddy. And I would NOT GET INVOLVED. Your head and your heart are completely different. While you may feel some instinct to jump in when you hear a woman screaming. Typically, you'll find that YOU ARE NOT EVEN WELCOME in that situation by the male or the female.
