CLEVER Street Fight STRIKING Set Ups | Fighting Techniques for Self Defense

Simple CLOSE Range Fighting Techniques for Self Defense: The Elbow Strike Set Up How to fight with elbows. This week we look at a simple idea of forcing your attacker to expose their face by punching hard and fast to their nose. We then discuss how to switch this punching into a trapping action that allows you to control the arms for a secondary counter attack, the elbow strike. Of course, it’s simple logic that your attacker will not be standing still allowing you to punch them in the face, he will most likely retaliate with his own punch in order to defend himself. So we discuss how to counter his punch, by cover and hitting back with an elbow to the face of your attacker. It’s a clever fighting technique for a street fight. We have lots more videos on how to fight with Wing Chun. Please visit our channel. Better yet feel free to leave a comment or a suggestion of what you would like us to film for you. It does not have to be about Wing Chun it can be about any subject related to fighting, how to fight, Wing Chun techniques, or even Wing Chun vs other styles of martial arts. Thank You Sifu. This is so fantastic that share your knowledge & skills with the world. Train Train Train.

Poly Urethane says:

Thanks. I have a Guanzhou wing chun 12 san sik form that can be easily adapted to these techniques as it has punches followed by elbows/wing arms or downwards parrys… I suppose this is why in wing chun you chamber your fists as you can easily go into a block of a haymaker by doing a rising elbow or go into an elbow cross?

lastrosenfeld says:

I would love to see you interact with master wong

lastrosenfeld says:

I always find so much use full things from you guys. I commented many times before but I feel like if I was to learn wing chun I would want to train it with you. You guys don't put limitations in your videos you allow people to use what works and add it to there game with out discrediting it. I am not a fan or traditional wing chun. Mainly because many schools tend train for someone who is also doing wing chun and are not open to adding things out side of there system unless its JKD school. I would really like to see how I can add mauy thai knee in self defence close quarters situation not out side.

Rooroo92 says:

I love how you can completely multitask, clobbering someone with punches etc while looking at the camera at the same time! Lol Thanks again for the practical advice, I know I sound like a broken record, but the quality of these videos, long or short, has always been very helpful indeed 🙂
