It looks like this crazy man was trying to stab the motorcyclist who's on the ground.

@DrPhillGoode says:

Are we sure this isn't some extreme road rage gone wrong? In the video, it looks like he hit the motorcycle on purpose. There was plenty of room to go on either side. It seems like he was in blind rage mode to get that motorcycle driver. When he had the knife he was laser focused on finishing him, regardless of being surrounded by police…even after being shot!

@moseslarios650 says:

Too bad for SKIPY!😉

@livelikemateo6951 says:

Poor dog didn’t get to eat.

@Jason1King1 says:

Was it worth it though??…for a speeder? Put hundreds at risk, for a speeder?

@jamesmcclintock5624 says:

Imagine your worst day. Now imagine being that biker:
-Peaceful ride when all of a sudden your bike EXPLODES. You open your eyes and realize you cant get up from your sudden freeway nap. (Didnt realize i was so tired…)
-Out of nowhere, a man playing hopscotch lunges towards you with a knife… When suddenly you're saved by gunshots (im defintely still asleep and dreaming, just cant move because sleep paralysis… Yea ive seen something about that on youtube!)
– Hopscotch Man… who just died…. COMES BACK FROM THE DEAD TO TRY TO KILL YOU SECOND TIME!!! ( Its ok! Magic dream police will sae me again… Im sure they have skills, training, a good backstop……. Oh 😳 Im the backstop arent I?)

@stevekarp3521 says:

holy smokes, im so glad to hear the motorcyclist made it. i'm also amazed that the motorcyclist made it. dude got clipped at 100+ mph out of absolutely nowhere, and lived? wow! something similar almost happened to me is why i stopped riding on the street.

@myspam512 says:

All well said!

@jars7774 says:

Is that Fetterman?

@user-fm6ek9sw2h says:

I ain't gon lie bruh they didn't have to kill him, he had a knife..

@RoyDollwet says:

Insane…….. Don't do drugs!!

@ChitChat says:

As a rider this is definitely nightmare fuel. I'm very observant when I ride and I don't think I could've avoided that in time either. Best wishes to that rider.

@galaxyswiss4958 says:

He didn’t go after the cyclists. He stumbled while trying to get back up. Just to clearing that up.

@donaldvelez9258 says:

I disagree with both of you. The bad guy made the decision to run. Both of you assume we have air cover everywhere. We don’t. Also, you want us to just let dangerous drivers and subjects to just punch it and run and us just let them make the determination whether or not they go to jail. This guy needed apprehension. Yes, the motorcycle is a victim. However, bad guy could have pulled over at anytime prior. Again, I disagree with your commentary. We don’t need to even try to work traffic with your views on pursuing suspects.

@punkalex14 says:

When you least expect it.
Make amends and embrace your loved ones.

@canadaplease7981 says:

Not that crazy at all. I feel really let down…

@awayinaranger1301 says:

As a fellow biker I feel for the innocent guy that got rammed, you honestly do need to mirror check constantly and know who and what is around you to avoid danger but nothing can prepare you for this pos.

@jeffmcbusa says:

Just speculation but maybe the motorcycles pissed him off way back down the road. The bikes speed up and get away, then the guy starts to catch up but now has a cop trying to stop him for speeding (speeding to catch up to the bikes) and wont stop for police. He purposely runs the bike down and was trying to finish the job with a knife. Road rage to the extreme?

@billeustace4842 says:

Dude with the knife looked like John Fetterman lol. Exact same outfit he wears in DC🤣🤣

@jupiterxqzk says:

so if a bigger man starts kicking in your door to your house whom you know is known for being violent or has been violent with you or family etc, after trying to deescalate the situation, calling the police and all that, but doesn’t stop and gets in and acts in very aggressive manners, and you’re scared, are you allowed to shoot? or do they need to have a weapon

@OveToranger says:

So, he mowed the motorcyclist down then attacked the officer (with a gun) using a knife and when he got up after being shot…he stabbed THE MOTORCYCLIST ???
What in the everliving f*ck was the point of ANY of this ??? Drugs or just plain crazy (or both) ?

Best wishes for a speedy 100% recovery for the motorcyclist !

@ghostman3344 says:

Not a fan of prolonged high speed chases….none of you want to be put in a chair or killed because a car thief was pursued that day….NONE OF YOU !!

@donlum9128 says:

Your pro back seat opinion.

@donlum9128 says:

It is the Mickey Mouse State.

@donlum9128 says:

Thankfully Mickey Mouse won't be around to do it again.

@dredgenz01 says:

I live in New Zealand. We put a stop to pursuits if the speed got to high. This proved to be a big mistake. The number of people fleeing police went way up because they thought the faster they go the more chance of getting away, causing more accidents. The police weren't in pursuit, therefore there was know one immediately at the seen of the crash.

@Todd.T says:

This is very common in the USA, but not so much in Canada. I don't hear of high speed chases. I work in an area where if there were to be one, I'd see it. Most I've seen is a car (black car with tinted windows, surprise!) get forced through a fence and a car try to reverse out after being blocked in by police and flipping over.

Really, we're so crowded here, you couldn't get going that fast and the police would just block traffic at the next entry /exit point and get you there. I personally feel that high speed chases are too accepted in the states and police get too hyped up over small things. Work smarter, not harder. Would you rather be inconvenienced by traffic being blocked for a bit, or die in a fiery crash because police felt their authority was slighted?
