Attitude. Skills. Plan.
Many new concealed firearm carriers forget that when behind the steering wheel of their automobile they are in control of a powerful weapon. Compare the "muzzle energy" of a typical passenger car travelling at a sedate 25 miles per hour against a pistol bullet–or an elephant gun bullet, for that matter. Someone behind me hops out of his car waving a machete? Bye-bye!
I hope that the defender took the time to laugh after the incident. It was funny, leaving carjackers fuming in gasoline fumes.
County seat near where I live had an armed carjacking about a week ago. I've ordered a new holster and plan to change my carry routines. Also may start running red lights in that area. A ticket is cheaper than a new car or hole in my body.
good lesson here is to stop tailgating everyone and give yourself room to exit the situation if needed. like for example its pretty annoying how people stack up at red lights and etc, so tightly packed they cant move if there is an emergency
In these high crime areas, would love to see police set up stings and ambushes. Or citizens. Maybe as recreational vigilante tourism. Set up cameras and rules of engagement and yet hang around stupid areas at stupid times feigning being unaware. With backup with rifles.
I always leave enough space ahead of me to vacate my present location, every time I stop my vehicle in traffic. Around my rural area, carjacking is uncommon but people get rear ended everywhere by distracted drivers. This saved my butt once in the eighties while at a stop light on a motorcycle. Head on a swivel.
windows up while waiting, paying attention in the mirror(s), doors were probably locked, car still in drive, left enough space to turn, moved the steering wheel as soon as a threat was perceived, pressed the gas as soon as they advanced, picked the best direction to get away quickly and easily (back onto the road, not into the complex.) 10/10 response from this driver.
Nice job of car’s positioning and spacing. I always leave room to maneuver… even just driving… I always have a plan b path when driving, and hope you never need to use it.
Wow that was close. I think in SA most people have head on swivel.
Jackers rolling in the BMW….car wars!
LMAO when he said this is south africa not Detroit or Los Angeles, HA, what's the difference?
They probably jacked the car they were driving too
If a car is behind you, why not just drive around the block again?
BMW not good enough for these perps!??
"Mom, slash and I are going to go get a car, easy work… Damn where's my car going?"

only thing this driver forgot to do was give them the finger.

Or in that area they drive off for 20 seconds and set up with rifles to apprehend the thieves
Tell POM to ship to Massachusetts. We don’t need a license to purchase pepper spray anymore.
Those car-jackers were in a BMW, too.
Car jackers got a BMW trying to steal an audi, seems like a lateral move 🤷♂️

Too bad it wasn't some James Bond car with rear missile launchers, or something.
Detroit is North Africa. LOL
Perp; Trade you a BMW for your Audi?? HEEYYYY! 😢

Great video. Great awareness!!!
😂😂 the last jacker didn’t gauge time and speed + car when he ran after it. He must have had a rough study session before this happened 😂😂
