As I become more disabled l have fewer options. If I am in a situation where I am threatened and I sense that I cannot talk my way out of trouble, I have to go to destroy sooner than I would have liked. I don’t have the reserves for options that wouldn’t resolve the problem immediately, although it is my preference to disengage where at all possible. This scenario has not happened, thankfully. Be careful with old crippled folks, they will hurt you sometimes. Great videos!
Nice work, have a question. In a situation with a guy set on attacking, I wouldn't telegraph a strike by standing with stick in normal relaxed stance. I totally agree head strikes should be avoided but a wrist flick strike to jaw or front of face …..not full but a glancing blow. I was wondering how in your style of cane would you do this from relaxed stance etc.
