Oh they were going to adopt the same self defense laws as Florida had before stand your ground was passed . That was back when Florida was a mostly liberal state and our legislature decided that requiring citizens to flee instead of rightfully defending yourself, even when fleeing was impossible or not reasonable, and even if fleeing left others including people like your wife and other vulnerable loved ones defenseless at the mercy of a true violent offender. When they realized that people who lawfully defended themselves were being maliciously prosecuted for serious felonies by liberal prosecutors and decided to act . But they maliciously neglected to do the right thing in my opinion. They never created a clemency board to restore the rights and clear the names of those they know rightfully defended themselves and others and were wrongly an maliciously prosecuted. People like me
