Kudos to this cop for not screwing around… a rifle is profoundly dangerous in the hands of a skilled shooter. Can't afford the luxury of giving a rifleman the first shot. A curtesy to give that verbal warning. Don't know about the videos games anymore. Last vid game I played was Quake.
the officer did well. i dont like how fast he approached the guy after he shot him. He didnt hand cuff or check for a 2nd weapon. The officer just stood there.
Sooo we're no longer waiting for a weapon to be pointed to be in fear of death or great bodily harm? Just it's presence and caller reports? Not defending the bad guy, just playing devil's advocate.

After watching the garandthumb science videos, its entirely possible that only 2, maybe 3 pellets hit at 40 yards
