The phrase "blood boiling" is exactly how I feel. I'm not sure what exactly I would do in this situation as a bystander, but I would've done SOMETHING.
So I guess no one is going to touch on the fact that this is obviously racially motivated. Even after they got the bag away from him they continued to attack him. The bag was never the focus of the attack if so the two of them could have easily caught him off guard and snatch it then threatened him with the knife when he tried to get it back. The point of this was to intimidate and hurt some one if a different ethnicity.

I never take public transportation at this age but if I did & if it was at night. I would be more aware than a mofo. As I walk out of the bus I am booking it with target direction! No pussy footing. Keen aware. 7 years ago late teens I did take public transportation & traveled the city streets but I was an everyday skateboarder which gave me a weapon to use if anyone ever tried to attack me so maybe thats why I never got into a cockroach trying to check me like that.
It would have been nice if a trained ccw third party passing by , with night sights , perfect back stop , 2 for the asphalt challenge easy and deserving , center mass , double dap with ease
Everyone is saying why didn't anyone help him?. Well we live in a progressive society with laws written by lawyers and overzealous prosecutors. You draw your gun on these scumbags best case scenario you spend a small fortune in court because you're now painted as the bad guy, worst case scenario you get accused of being a wanna be cop you go to jail and loose your firarms rights forever leaving you now defenseless. I'm not saying this is right but unfortunately this is how it is.
A bystander with ccw would be ok to empty his 20 rounds of 9mm on the bad guys ? What about after empty 20 rounds reload and finish the bad guys taking their own knives and cutting their throats Would that be ok ?
