I have not watched the lessons yet but, She had a clear window of opportunity Whenever he was looking around for witnesses. If she had a gun or A way to get a way that would have been the time.
The man that was shot is a buddy of mine who works with me. He’s had a couple of surgeries and is doing better. Shot in the hand and belly. Wrong place at the wrong time, we get up early in the morning to meet to go to work from the hotel. Had this been a little later there would have been about 15 of us downstairs waiting to leave. I hope they throw the book at this guy and he gets what he deserves. For anyone thinking he should have been armed, again, we are at work and aren’t allowed to carry as per company policy. Not in company vehicles, company property, or company paid housing. It’s an all around crappy situation but I’m glad he’s pulling through. As for the lady who lost her life, my prayers go out to her and her family. No one deserves what happened here
Her best option was to retire and never do such a dangerous job at her age. So sad. I hate it when someone makes it to their golden years just to die brutally by some punk who has no respect for life of an elderly woman.
You see a hoodie…. assume something's up. I've pulled on guys wearing hoodies at least a half dozen times… usually hold the pistol down by my side but still making sure they know there will be return fire.
Couple of times I asked to see hands… or gave aggressive warning that there better not be anything coming out of those pockets but empty hands. Got called a racist once… by a white guy and a Hispanic pair.
My wife used to get upset at me for my aggressive attitude… until the night we were walking from a parking lot into a wedding hall and two guys with hoodies emerged from between a row of parked cars and stood about thirty feet along the path we would have to traverse. I immediately pulled my 1911 (it was the early 90's) and ordered the two guys to move on before I lit them up. Full two handed pointing right at them. They turned and ran into the night.
Don't take chances trying to be polite or appear non racist or not sensitive. Often times being aggressive is the best form of prevention.
Come on fellow N's ya'll are free now you got a chance to represent your ppl but continue to confirm stereotypes how sad

That is a bad person; just opening fire on the woman and man for no reason; sad

Not even gonna mention race, but yeh, I kinda just did.
Wow,, I don't know how to protect myself in this case. She's old, not mobile, can 't run. anything would be pure luck to survive.
She had no way of knowing his final intention, so compliance was reasonable, albeit fatal.
RIP Lynda Palmer
What do you expect from someone like that
Hm. It would appear my go-to strategy isnt all that strategic…
He shot her cus she was white. There was no reason whatsoever
