Batarang for Self Defense? – Gear Tasting 107

Sometimes you have to buy something just for the cool factor and today on Gear Tasting, Bryan showcases an awesome Batarang he picked up from Boomerangs by Vic. Several lessons were learned during our filming, including just how difficult it can be to get the Batarang on target. Aborigines had two types of boomerang. Hunting boomerang and a toy boomerang. What you have is a toy boomerang. The hunting boomerang did not return. If flew straight line to hit target, which is what you want to hit a bad guy. My 2ยข

we all get better after only throwing it around for an hour! and practice makes perfect! soon you'll have it down to two mins flat! oh wait, we're talking boomerangs, um anyway.. same applies !!

Hi. Throw your boomerang with more of a vertical release. Not a 3/4 throw. For right handed throw you want the wind coming from your left front. Opposite for left hand. It you throw more into the wind it will fly behind you. Adjust accordingly. I've made a few they are a lot of fun. Good luck

Episodes of Gear Tasting seem to be getting shorter. Is this for any specific reason?
