Authorities rule self defense in eastern China road rage killing
Local police and prosecutors in Kunshan, east China’s Jiangsu Province announced Saturday that a cyclist has been exempted from criminal liability in a case that involved the death of a driver earlier this week. The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. Monday at a crossing when the drunk driver almost crashed with the cyclist. The driver then stepped out of the car with a long knife and attacked the cyclist, who grabbed the knife during the fighting and stabbed the driver several times. The driver died after emergency treatment failed. Based on investigation and in accordance with relevant provisions of the Criminal Law, police said that the cyclist’s act was regarded as justifiable defense and he should not bear criminal responsibility.

Good job by the Chinese authorities to acquit the innocent man
I agree fully with the ruling. Carrying weapons of any sort in a car is illegal in many countries!
One less troublemaker in China
You're starting to believe, it's the for the best.
