If I'm ever to face encounter like that And I have that much time I'm going to put my taser in my left hand my pistol in my right hand fire the taser if it works perfect if it doesn't i can sleep known i tried not just walk up and shoot when their was plenty of time to handle this matter
Unless it’s helpful to you or the channel(s) I like the current setup. HOWEVER, if you decided to split it up, I’d subscribe to the other channel, just to support you and what you’re doing.
No tasers? Why did the officer stood his ground? Overweight slow and unable to run down that officer, yet he chose to shoot. Would he have shot her if she were a relative? So many different levels of dealing and outcome than killing her.
You have a great following. I think by segmenting it, many subscribers may not carry over. The lessons you provide irrespective of profession is very insightful to all. However, you do benefit by getting those most interested carried over.
Really though, what would have been so wrong with this officer moving strategically (with his gun merely drawn and while giving verbal commands), in such a way that he purposefully and continuously keeps his patrol car in between himself and the woman with the knife, at least until backup arrived? She moves, he counter-moves in defense to avoid her approach.
Doing so guarantees nothing, however, it demonstrates that the officer cares about sparing human life enough so that he was at least willing to do the minimum to try to prevent having to resort to deadly force, but no such humanity nor compassion nor effort was shown nor exercised, that is because standardized training protocols never emphasize the value of actually protecting anyone other than themselves while enforcing the laws within their jurisdictions.
It’s a sad shame that cops continue to kill citizens far more often than is necessary. If that knife-wielding woman, who was obviously in desperate need of emotional and psychological intervention, instead of being a total stranger to this officer, had been a direct relative of his immediate family, I GUARANTEE he would NOT have been so quick to draw her back into a direct line of attack as he did and then subsequently fire his pistol with deadly consequences.
Police agencies need to re-evaluate their claims of “protecting and serving” because the only protection I see demonstrated in this video is SELF-protection (which, of course IS appropriate in many, but not all encounters) and he certainly “served” her with a swift death sentence.
Edit: In policing in general, there should be more emphasis placed on the practice of “try NOT to kill” whenever possible.
Final Edit: Taser in one hand (to be used first), pistol in the other hand to follow up with increased force should the taser fail to be effective (not in all circumstances, but this particular encounter, certainly). I understand two hands on the gun when firing is better than one hand, but…Can cops not multitask??
What was that white spot that appeared immediately after firing? I don't see any sort of laser system, it appeared on the perp's chest while the gun was aimed upwards. It's obvious at 5:53.
Keep it here please

i would subscribe to another channel but would not view as much as i do here
Its fine like it is.
Cops really have no problem killing people it's sad.

Keep it together, just do a separate playlist or something
Please keep ASP all together.
Really? This cop couldn’t handle that old lady with non lethal force? Using a gun is an easy way out and is not the ONLY solution.
Please keep everything here. Going to be more work for everyone if you split it.
Suicide by cop? Why didn't he employ his non-lethal taser?
Just keep all the videos together man. Save the work because we watch either way!

I would definitely prefer a separate LEO channel
You can hear her instant regret. She feels all that pain as she slowly bleeds out lungs feeling with blood. I support this police action.
Keep it the same
KEEP EM HERE.
Keep it all together, John. This is great channel. Thank you.
Yes please do that. You got my sub
I’d subscribe

How is it justified.? Absolutely bull💩. It happens every other day in uk and Europe and no one dies or is shot! Sad, sad, sad country!
Cool calm and collected 😅
1.5 million people subscribed to your channel already, John! Why change it? We love what you do!!!
Waaaaaa a women? 🤔
Same channel please.
Videos with audio are the best. There is no reason for the host to talk non-stop in most videos.
Keep them together, it’s nice to be surprised by what’s on offer!
