ASP, it's too bad you didn't take the time to watch the Colion Noir interview (a month ago) with this shop owner, titled, "Armed Jewelry Store Owner Tells His Story Defending Against 2 Armed Robbers In Texas". I am curious how / if your narrative would change when you get some real facts rather than relining on media FAKE NEWS. First, he never said he fired a warning shot. Second, he makes a good reason why he carry's the way he does. Third, Fourth & Fifth…you will need to watch the interview for yourself.
dude this asp guy is stupid, shop owner carries in the back so no one in the front can see him draw his gun. texas is hot, carrying in the front will imprint the gun and is a death sentence if he draws it. the shop owner knows what hes doing. hollow points will hit the glass door and get stopped. so shooting randomly can be safe for the civilians outside. How do I know hollow point ammo gets stopped? Ive seen it before in real life. The bullets go through a little but cause little damage afterward.
Need to get this dude into some solid training to increase his chances of defending himself better. Granted heโs already done it three times so what do I know ๐
carrying small of back is hard to get to ๐๐ mabe for you biger guys, but i can reach mine with either hand so if one of my hands are tired up in the fight i can still get it and the only reason he was able to draw on a already drawn gun is because it was behind his back and the perp couldn't see exactly what was going on till his was out vs apex carrying wear perp wouldn't have to fig out what was going on and just pull
Shop owner getting lots of practice, eh?! That's good and not good. Got a suggestion which isn't cheap but what if he had one-way glass as his divider? He could see them but they couldn't see him.
Warning shots are never good, no matter what local laws may say. I also am not so keen on somebody entering into a funnel. I realize Texas is all about standing up for personal property, but just holding ground would be better than pushing into the open.
I watched the interview with the shop keeper about the robbery , He said he specifically shot towards the right because he knows thatโs a brick wall . Had he shot off to the left , thereโs another store over there with women who sit by the wall
