I think that had this exact scenario played out in certain American blue states that the store clerk would have been charged with a crime. Even in California police officers now can only shoot for “only when necessary in defense of human life.” I can easily see a progressive district attorney make the case that the robber was fleeing and was no longer a threat. I certainly think the clerk was 100 percent correct in doing what he did. But just remember that a DA may not see it that way.
The perp probably dropped the gun when he was shot. The defender was saying "If you catch it, you will take it"!!! Take another shot, that is! He stopped as the perp was no longer a threat. Perfect! Thank you BOLSONARO!!!!!!! Cheers from Brazil!
Good citizen . Do you think this perp would have stopped robbing other citizens? He's kind of a hero in his neighborhood . He worked better than the police because he was prepared and was there. police were 10 minutes away or more.
Great video to formulate counter ambush draw to target times. Can be a good blueprint to use with two shooters and the Mantis Laser Academy. Setup the two target system, have your partner stand back of head/side of head (Ear) to their target. You are facing your target and go on the buzzer. Note your times and hit.
I'm stop tired of all the hard critiques on amatuer defenders, that grip worked he got him twice, I see officers that are "trained" do a mag dump and only hit there target one or two times three shots with a running target and hit twice come on john he did good!…your such a hater in really thinking about unsubscribing.
I love when naive people think that a person running away with a gun isn’t dangerous. Tell that to the families of those 2 police officers who were murdered a few years ago by a man running away from them shooting under his arm backwards hitting them both and mortally wounding them.
That perp was an idiot lol. Every time he turned his head, he was giving opportunity. I'm not sure if John's timings include you moving off the x. But a 1.5 or a 2.0 second to draw can be increased if you get off the x. Having to re-acquire his target while you're moving increases your chances of a good counterattack. How many people would have waited as long as the clerk did for his counterattack? A lot of missed opportunity here
No, this is bad advice. Ladies and Gentlemen, if you shoot at an individual that is walking away, he or she will be considered to be non-threatening. I promise you will be arrested and you will definitely need that USCCA membership that is promoted so much. There will always be a prosecutor somewhere judging whether a conviction can take place. If someone is walking away, I would suggest you take your weapon out to be ready in case but let them walk away.
I have no problem with this either but an American DA has hours, days, weeks to decide that he shot him in the back and is therefore culpable. Not in. the country where it happened but I would not bet on it being okay in the USA.
Maybe its just me but if someone commits armed robbery and gets shot in full flight, I call that justified because he shouldn't have been doing what he did in the first place.
the first bullet lands on the right wall, bottom shelf, right on top of the red/white box. You can see the hole as soon as the first shot is released. I see a second shot, which is the one that hits the bad guy. I do not see nor hear a third shot. Bad guys lost. Good guy wins.
