James Klaatu says:

My neighbor was old school NRA instructor. Gave me my basic before he would let me buy a gun. His advice which I took, was first hand gun should be a revolver. He said when you're new and under stress it's best to know not only whats going to happen on the first pull. But the second pull also. Later after plenty of practice with his semi collection I settled on a Kimber 1911 pro carry. I totally get the importance of draw practice and correct two hand grip. That perp deserved one dead center.

Eric McDonough says:

Quantiples says:

Seems new shooters really want to put their support hand thumb around the firearm. That’s a good way to jam the slide or get slide bite. John’s right that training is key. I would never consider gripping the gun in any manner different than the position I’ve trained 10s of thousands of times.

scott h says:

The “clerk” Raj is actually the Owner. He open carries all the time. He’s been the owner for 23 years. He was actually selling the store and retiring this month. It Would have been a real shame for a crackhead Nazi hillbilly to ruin that.
