How do you know proportionality of force immediately after getting punched in the face? What if he got knocked out or on the ground and was getting stomped? I’m not saying this was right but it’s very easy to Monday morning QB these things. Put yourself in the shoes of the guy that was sucker punched several times. I’m just saying. Something to think about… 🙏🏼

You're judgment on these videos are starting to confuse me. This guy is standing there with his hands in his pockets, no threat at all. He gets attacked and defends himself and then you say he should ignore the gun he has and square up like jackie chan or something. I would have thought that your "self defence expertise" would lead you to understand that it only takes one punch in the wrong place to kill someone. I think ill find another chanel that is consistent with their views as being so sporadic with your advice helps no one.
This video should have stuck to pre attack indicators, staging a firearm and fighting with a gun in an enclosed space. Instead John goes off the rails to try to sound smart about the law.

I hate to say this but John's legal explanation – as usual – is completely wrong. 100% guarantee this guy is acquitted on self-defense grounds.
Other guy is attacking him in his own home and has backed him into a corner with no ability to retreat.
Only charge i could see is maybe reckless endangerment for firing so many shots that all missed his indended target.
