It's always pitbulls/pit mixes. They need to be banned worldwide. They were never meant to be a family pet. They were bred as game dog. Bred to be a fighting dog in the 1800 for entertainment in England. Once again, they were never meant to be family pets.
I had a couple of pits charge me before but most of the time I just stand my ground and stare at them and show no fear and luckily that’s worked for me 2 or 3 times, the dogs usually get caught off guard that I didn’t react and walk away
WoW! My last post got zapped in less than 2 minutes. Anyway, yes, I have had to defend myself from Pit Bulldogs with a handgun. This was in a rural area, and no police were called by either party. I used to have problems from time to time, with the neighbor's dogs trying to take me off of my Harley, when I rode by. I and other farmers have also had issues with baby calves getting attacked by some of these dogs.

I’ve had to use spray three times in the past two years walking in my neighborhood. So far it’s been 100% effective.
