My dad once shot an illegal Mexican in the gut with a ten gauge over under double barreled shotgun. Here's where it gets dicey law wise. My uncle was a long haul cattle trucker he had his benelli sawed off and also cut the stock off and finished to a pistol grip. This was early 80s in California and cops were starting to stop drugs looking for contraband. So he got worried sold it to dad. Then one night our dogs were growling and dad looked out a side window and saw two illegals trying to get in. One had a knife trying to jimmy the door locks the other had a gun. He positioned me my mom and bro with three guns. Me bro had a semi auto 22 rifle bro had the 22 hand gun. But mom had her.38 revolver. Dad grabbed his 1911 .45 his shotgun snuck around the house said wtf you think you're doing? The gun guy spun dad popped a round of bird shot into em at like ten feet. Dropped him instantly. Dad didn't lie to the cop about what gun he used and there was no case it was a plane self defence. The cop is like hmmm how bout I just not right down what type of shot gun. Just make sure to get a how you say LEGAL one and I won't document this. The guy didn't die but he probably had intestinal problems after. Picking pellets outta him f9r years.
man I hate the fact that I was listening to this on the drive home so I can't really articulate things very well but I didn't even know they made a fool out over version of that gun and now I'm very much frustrated that I don't make good money cause I would drop way more than 5 bucks for a chance to help this guy get elected an yea a chance at a guy from my childhood
Love you guys, in Canada the proportion of force is extremely relevant to your case. God forbid you use a gun in your own home against a guy with a knife.
I had a mini in 5.56, it was my favorite and most reliable gun I ever owned, would love to have another but they are double the price of when I bought mine
