Wausa says:

It's the robber who's guilty of murder, here.

Keith Hendrickson says:

Yeah nah man, f that guy having to live with himself. The family has to live without their daughter; reckless pos. Hands down, he should have gone to jail. Let your $20 and pride go and just leave.

This is what I’ve been getting at when it comes to taking someone’s life…. Your really gonna kill someone over $20?… your really gonna kill someone over a 15k car?… your REALLY gonna kill someone over any amount of money?… no one should have the right to kill some one over greed… if your that broke you can’t lose your shit, well, welcome to life, figure it out… sad and pathetic….

Wausa says:

Oh that's tragic. And that guy was within rights to shoot the robber- but ONLY the robber.
So sad.

Xtreme Xsport says:

Well if he’s not going to be charged and that’s my kid there who he killed , that man will be as good as dead already

El hurricane says:

What's up with Texas? They allow the murder of that guy who was provoked by his ex and her partner, and now this?

H Henderson says:

Forget what some guy thinks after killing over 20 dollars. The only scumbag killed a kid. You sir are a terrible judge of character in this case. Petty theft is not what set the killing off. Shooting into a vehicle caused this result.

The_Arizona_Ranger says:

Totally irresponsible of the shooter to do that. If you have a gun and THINK something, better a perp get away than an innocent person get hurt.

Amtcboy says:

That “victim” is a murderer.
If his heart is as hard as stone, he’s happy he’s not charged.
Not at all guilty, he thinks.

Dragoro says:

You are responsible for every round that leaves the chamber until the round stops. It doesn't matter what it hits, or how far it goes. Your shot must be accountable for every millimeter it travels. It was 20 bucks, the guy should have let it go. Once he lost sight he should not have shot at anything even if he thought he may be somewhere. That I consider to be blind firing and is a billion times more dangerous than engaging in a gun fight because not only are you not aware of whats beyond the target, you can't possible know whats beyond the barrier. These are simple fire arm safety rules that must be followed. You only fire the gun when you intend to destroy something and your finger should only be on the trigger when you are ready to fire, not blindly guess.

This is the risk firearm owners take when carrying. It is only a shoot when you are shot at (or presented in the line of unlawful deadly force). You cannot use a firearm to shoot at anything because you think it could be a threat. This is why everyone who carries must train, and must be showed the faults we can have if we are not diligent.

For example, something everyone must go through. You need to show someone you loaded 5 shots into a firearm, fire five shots and have them unload the magazine and pull the rigger with the gun aimed down range and let them unexpectedly have the sixth shot go off. They need to understand why they need to treat every firearm as if it is loaded. I did this by accident. I loaded 7 shots, they were my last seven and I cleared the gun itself so nothing in the chamber. I fired 7 rounds having a blast because I was just starting and trying really hard to make each shot count and be as accurate as possible so I counted and took my time. I unloaded the mag, and fired the gun down range and it went off. I can swear with every fiber of my being I loaded 7, fired seven, and the new magical bullet appeared. I even had the thought of clearing it out aimed the opposite direction just for kicks and giggles and thought "I will do it down range just to practice the legitimate safety procedure in like a competition". I will never treat a firearm as though it IS NOT loaded. Even if I have completely cleared it, I take care not to point even a known empty gun at anyone. I will not risk pointing a firearm at anyone that even has a barrel flag in it. The risk is too high to screw around.

This guy doesn't deserve the second amendment because he cannot follow the simplest of rules to keep a child alive. This wasn't crossfire. This was aimed intent at hurting someone and he did not see his target, he did not see a threat and firing randomly killed a little child.

We are not law enforcement. We do not chase after criminals. We have our 2A to stay alive and get out of the danger zone. Not to go shooting at what may or may not be the location of a criminal….. to top it off she died over 20 bucks. this guy should easily do 20,000 years for every penny he found her life worth.

Also, badguy for stealing 20 is wrong and with a loaded weapon deserved to be taken down.

H Henderson says:

That is not crossfire.

rhen tao says:

HE SHOULD BE CRIMINALLY CHARGED. fking idiots. The robber is running away and he doesn't have to shoot since there are no more threats. I hate law makers in that fking county.

Bone Saw says:

What’s the point of commenting when they disappear…

Concrete Jungle says:

They should have charged him,the guy is running away just let him go…Over $20.00,C'mon Man.

slayerr4365 says:

I hate how many times you say "over 20 bucks" the guy walks up to cars points guns in his wives face giving her mental trauma and will continue doing this until shot dead. The monetary value is so irrelevant or what if they happened to take 500 bucks out and he took it then the story changes? No of course not. Poor judgement on the shooters part but you would understand why he thought that. Guy runs that direction it's dark pick up truck speeds past. It was a bad mistake with a bad outcome but how the hell are you people seriously blaming the guy who got robbed and his wife put into deep stress instead of the guy who actually did the crime???? Oh wait we know exactly why. Because the criminal was black so he did nothing wrong great job guys! 🙂

schuter680 says:

the guy who got robbed is at fault like why would you even shoot him its $20

Jay says:

Guy should have been charged. The perp was clearly fleeing. It's not even that he was shooting at the perp while he was running away I can understand that But to fire into a car where you can not clearly see the target is flat out criminal. You must be able to clearly identify the threat (and it must be an active threat to your life or another's life) If you are going to use your firearm in self defense. You can't just shoot into a truck driving by. WTF this pisses me off so much.

Carlos Peralta says:

I love the argument of "they're going to live knowing they killed someone innocent" because it assumes they actually give a sh*t when most people forget about it.

Xerroxi says:

very complicated. all over 20 bucks?

Dick Yang says:

he fuck-en though..he should be charger.. and make him an example.. this will happen if you fuck up

Rusty Shackleford says:

Was that guy wearing hearing protection with cat ears on it?
