There is no women's self defense. There is just the lifestyle of a life-long Martial Artist. It is hard, painful, but I love it. I wish I didn't have a nasty headache right now, then I could go to the gym as usual.
You bet, a woman's muscle mass is mostly in her hips and legs. And a male's muscle is mostly in his upper body. Kicking and grappling are a woman's techniques. Learn krav maga, they'll show you how to do the most damage with the least effort. And if you can find a female instructor, go for it. She'll know how a woman fights and there's a difference between male and female style. Go for his nuts and stay out of his punching range; and in your kicking range. And kick the beans out of him. Don't let some guy mess up your life. 🥋
Awesome video,just remember each form has its own purpose.Women and kids should consider a style.I realized you can always be wirh them.My daughtet is a first dan shorin ryu, she has been studing since 7.Now 16 will recive 2nd dan by end of high school.She is also starting mma training.braz,mauy,kick,boxing.Hopefully never needs,but has some skills.
There are several points of misinformation in this video. 1. The "Karate Kid" shown dealt with Kung Fu, not Karate. The 1980's Karate Kid video clips would have been more appropriate. 2. Judo in NOT "centuries old". Judo was created in 1883, but wasn't open to non-Japanese until MUCH later. 3. Kicks are a debated subject and should not be held as "always more powerful and a longer reach" than hand-based methods. Any kick that is delivered outside 45 degrees above or below the waste brings the target within arm's reach. Also, the higher than the waste a kick is, the less power it has. That's not guess work. That's basic physics. This is the third video from BrutalTV I have seen that has misinformation. Please fact-check your information more carefully before you release a video. Thank you.

I’m a karate black belt 2nd dan in shotokan karate and love teaching especially women’s self defence using powerful but focused strikes and kicks, we have more women at our dojo then men, so for me and the other ladies agree that karate is best suited for a female to protect them selves, we enjoyed watching your video and hope you make many more thank you oss 🥋
i have seen a black belt karate woman got overpowered by 5 normal guy… early in the fight she seem confident enough after throwing many heavy kick and punch on the guys, but when all of them come at once locking almost all of her 4 limb… she lost. maybe she need more real fight experience… i mean even if you have knowledge of master karate, nothing beat real fight experience… right?

Plenty of everything from the list was missing, it would have been more worthwhile to make a list of tens, twelve rather. And what I mainly miss is Wing Tsun kung fu, and then some Wing Chun kung fu styles, but of course not all, because there are a lot of cheaters within Wing Chun, or rather the weak and mixed style, Master Wing Chun, and "Grandmaster." In Leung Ting’s Wing Tsun school, in contrast, there are only professional masters, instructors. And so much about the formation of Wing Tsun and Wing Chun (because the two styles didn't come together 30-40 years ago) that the grandmasters of the first two were certainly women 300 years ago! A shaolin kung running cultivating shaolin nun, a certain Ng Mui, developed this system, discarding the abundant form practice, allast, technique of Shaolin kung fu; in short, the overly complicated nature, and the spectacular practices. Instead, he hid the techniques in only 3 (!) I.e. three form exercises, and Wing Tsun, only two, Use 2 (!) Allast, less based on more principles. The second grandmaster of the style was a woman called Yim Wing Chun, after whom the style was named. Does anyone know a martial art that has had two grandmasters as women, and besides that, the technical elaboration is so practical that it specifically tackles weak points, giving weaker women a chance to defeat stronger men ?! Because I don't know that! Martial arts like Wing Tsun, whose self-defense bases are included in both the FBI and the Bundeswer, etc., in their handouts, why didn’t it get on the list ?! Most martial arts rely on a high level of skill to be effective. A spinning hook or heel kick is frightening if done at the expert level but poking an eye or grabbing an ear and trying to rip it off is distracting enough for escaping

Krav Maga is mixed Martial Arts which both have roots in JKD .
