look science there is something known as dead mans 10 seconds. Depending on
shot placement they could still shoot back or fight back even with a hit to
the vitals. Central nervous shutdown however is a much different situation
that is instant lights out
I have a Astra 380, which is a Spanish copy of the PPK. I love that gun.
It’s very accurate. I have some videos of it on my channel. (Shameless
plug) It’s really pretty too, it’s about 90% engraved and all chromed out!!
I think Yankee is spot on. I wouldn’t want to be shot with a 380 or a 22!!
Also true, is the fact that thugs are money motivated. They are looking
those that will submit not fight back.
This is quite a refreshing perspective. I always try to express to people,
in the unlikely event that you would need to pull your weapon, merely
brandishing it may serve its purpose. However should you need to fire it, I
believe even a .22 would stop most would be assailants in their tracks.
I was just watching Hickok45 do a review of the Bersa Thunder .380 CC. It’s
made in Argentina and a cheaper copy of the Walther. He had a lot of good
things to say about it and very few negative comments. I’m considering it
for my own CC.
I know a guy that runs a sig P238 and he had a black bear charge him in the
woods here in NC. He dumped 5 rounds or CORBON in its head and killed it.
So what you are saying is very true. Not my favorite but I will take a .380
over not carrying a gun at all.
🙂 a shot from a pistol feels like a hammer I heard a few times. I also
seen some big angry Irish people who have kept charging while taking a few
good knocks too the nut while drunk! but Im sure your collection of pocket
size shooters will doo wonders:) I would like the Walther for my first gun
or some think very similar 😛

I have to agree with my girlfriend that 8″ of penetration is not quite deep

the sig 232 in the upper right is by far the best 380 I’ve ever shot, great

Personally I have no issue carrying a .22lr revolver. If seeing the gun
doesn’t chase them away I bet hearing the gun fire would.
For the ninjas I use me samurai sword anyway… If you can’t get it done
with the amount allotted, consider running anyway.
