FUCK Ruger firearms. Bil Ruger is why we are all going through this 10 round magazines capacity bullshit. It's because of bill Ruger we have to fight for STANDARD 30 MAGAZINES. It's a proven fact. Google it if you don't believe me.
I know you guys want me to get rid of the mustache. But I'm keeping it til the end of the series. A few minutes later: I just realized how ridiculous I look with this mustache. 🤣🤣🤣
I'm just teasing. Keep it or lose it, what matters is that we see you making vids that we all enjoy!
The people who complain about .357 recoil are probably using those tiny little ultralight carry pistols, in which case, Yes that stings a bit when you need to shoot it more than once
Great vid bro. The 125 gr semi jacketed HP is why the 357 is at the very top of the one shot stop charts. The average on all of the charts I've seen are between 96% and 98% one shot stop ratings. The SJHP goes in around heart deep and basically explodes. Anything that Elmer Keith had a in creating is always gonna be powerful and effective. Since the 357 was introduced to the public in 1935,there's no shortage of data to prove that it is the most effective self defense round available. One 357 round is more effective than 3 – 5 rounds of 9mm and less likely to cause legal problems if your DA is a libtard that uses the " excessive deadly force " argument to try and hang the victim for just defending their life. The reason that the recoil is so manageable is that the single action revolver is designed to roll in the hand and thus the felt recoil is far less than what you'll experience with its double action counterparts. Works the same in any caliber. I've shot 44 mags in both, and the single action is much more pleasant in the single action. I personally think that you should keep the mustache and grow a beard to match. I've always thought that a man looks better with some hair on his face. Most of my uncles have had beards or mustaches, so I've always been around " real " men since I was born. I've got a decent beard myself. I would have had a Billy Gibbons vibe going on, but last fall I decided to practice my fire making skills without a lighter or matches and ended up burning most of my beard off. It's not as easy to start a fire in wet conditions as people make it seem on TV or YouTube. If you think that you might ever need to learn such skills or just want to learn, practice, practice, practice! It could save your life someday. We never know what the next 5 minutes will bring, let alone the next few years. Try the 44 mag or 45 Colt in the Cowboy series. You'll probably not find any 38-40 ,44-40 ect anymore. Those are actually the Real Cowboy rounds that were what the majority of most people used back then. The 45 Colt was originally a military round, not what the average person used. TV and the movies are what started that misconception. Do a little research and you'll be surprised at the range of now obsolete calibers that were in common use in the mid to late 1800s and even in the early 1900s. Keep up the great videos and stay safe and free 🙏
The .357 magnum round was introduced in 1935. That gun you have is based off the original Colt single action army, or the peacemaker, introduced in 1873. It originally fired the .45 colt round, not .357 magnum.
There is only one thing that really disqualifies his gun as a cowboy revolver and that is the rear sight. In the 1800's when revovlvers first came out they only had a a small v notch or valley notch down the top of the gun. Adjustable sights were not added to revolvers until after the 1950's.
Don't be to upset when the cowboy segment is over because from now on when he gets sick or very stressed out it will be cowboy segment time again lol
44 magnum is well known to be a way better cartridge also 454 casull but I know you love the Blackhawk say it three times fast
How about .357 vs .44 vs 45 lc in revolver and lever action? Those are the 3 most popular revolver calibers.
That 357 “is a little bit spicy” followed by “I’m probably immune to recoil”.
357 mag out of a light frame 2” barrel I carry as a back up. It seems like a 9+P as far as recoil.
Yeah bud, you’re immune to recoil. Those monster 357 magn’s
You were absolutely right the first time when you said it. It's a little spicy, but it's not that bad.
What’s the name of the revolver. Looking for one
