If It was good enough for Wyatt Earp, it is good enough for me. Plus, it
can be fully loaded and stored for long periods of time without weakening a
magazine spring.
And don’t forget, if you have only two firearm and one either fails or in
in the shop on repairs it is advisable to know how all your firearms to be
used in self-defense. I whole heartily agree. I have a Ruger 2x action and
planning to get a 1x action very soon, mainly for sports.
I agree. Even though I am a 1911 afficionado. I like SAs, a lot. The old
.45 Long Colt was a pretty potent cartridge. Actually a much better stopper
than a 9mm Parabellum from any of the many modern semi-autos. I never got
around to it, but I always meant to get a Ruger Convertible in .45 ACP/ .45
LC.
For those who don’t know, why this is a good video, well you would think
that my self defense weapon option would be a modern semi auto. But , you
sport what you have, if you are packing a single action in bear country b/c
you couldn’t afford a $1000 .454 casull but a $500 vaquero in .45 colt was
in your price range. Or if you happen to be closer to that weapon at home
and it is your best option when confronted by a criminal. I like these
videos , keep em coming Ruger.
Nice video but could you get Il Ling some low profile hearing protection.
Those monster muffs look ridiculous. A lady of her “caliber” deserves
better.
Wyatt Earp used a Smith

I guess you didn’t get the memo. The Chinese invented gunpowder and guns.

I LOVE revolvers. But a single action revolver for self defense is the
worst idea ever.
