We always find it amusing when people claim to create new styles or systems. Ultimately, we’re all human beings therefore all styles are related and restricted by the same laws. This video shows popular modern self-defense systems and their much older counter-parts found in traditional karate.
We are a group on a mission to return Karate to its roots through the use of Kata as self-defense.

In this self defense video, we explain how to protect yourself against a knife attack to the throat. If you’re placed in this situation, it’s recommended to comply with your attacker’s demands and give your belongings.
Knife fights are very unpredictable and can be extremely dangerous! It’s not worth getting stabbed and seriously injured over money or belongings.
Ideally, you want to communicate with your attacker as quickly as you can. You want to know as much information as possible and find out what he wants from you.
Keep in mind that you must be extremely cautious and aware of the situation and be able to react quickly. Things can go really fast in a robbery attempt.
That said, there might be situations where the attack will continue on, even if you comply with your attacker. You will then need to stop the threat quickly by trapping the knife and striking back immediately.
We hope that you enjoyed these self defense tips against a knife to the throat.

Flight Attendants Train In Self-Defense To Cope With Air Rage | TODAY
Don’t mess with this sisterhood.
A group of Buddhist nuns in the Indian Himalayas were encouraged to learn Kung Fu nearly 10 years ago by the leader of their 1,000-year-old sect. They’re now passing on these skills during a five-day workshop, with grueling 15-hour days, to help women protect themselves from attack. The nuns train the women both on defensive and offensive tactics.
Although Buddhist nuns are not traditionally permitted to exercise, these nuns shake off the stereotype — and pass on their skills to other women.
