How to use it: You are meant to throw the personal safety alarm into bushes or away from you in general, that way attacker either cannot find the alarm to silence it, needs to move away from you in an attempt to silence the alarm, so they do not try to go after you/attack you in an attempt to get to and silence the alarm. You WANT the alarm away from your personal body. 

 

We call it  “Sound Grenade”, so think it’s like grenade. Pull the pin, point flash strobe light to attackers eyes, and throw it away, run.

 

DIY tip: You can all so use it as trap alarm. Tape it to the wall etc., tie string to the door handle and another end to alarm pin. When someone opens the door, pin goes off and alarm starts screaming. Handy!
