Don’t forget to share this video with a senior in your life. Also, share your own personal experiences in the comments 👊

@tommyudo3195 says:

I'm so glad I've reached the age of 66 without succumbing to the paranoia expressed in your video.

@RawFitChris says:

As an instructor (not in self defense per se) I can really appreciate your teaching technique– it is truly top notch. Wow you do it right! And I also greatly appreciate you sharing this information and training tips. You set the bar for all self defense YouTubers.

@falconeaterf15 says:

You need to practice and develop muscle memory.

@OldTimerGarden says:

Don't forget the shin scrape or the throat punch.

@user-gg7do2kp3y says:

I will 102 in 37 years time. I found this video helpful. Where am I?

@smithpm81 says:

eye poke, cupped ear hand slap

@AA-mk4pu says:

Okay but foot stomps are worthless

@LupaDomina says:

I have used the shin scrape to foot stomp to free myself from a grab hold many times. My Father was an ex-marine (UK). He taught me basic self defense moves as a young girl because he said I would need them more in life. He was correct. I have successfully applied all these techniques (plus others) and lived to tell the tale. Train them young. Stay alert, stay safe.

@michaelcavanaugh2708 says:

THE EAR SLAP!!!!!!!!!……… WORKED FOR CAPTAIN KIRK!!!!!…..STAR TREK "ARENA"

@tommykinikin9335 says:

I remember reading a book called The Gift of Fear. The basic theme of this book was that if you're in a dangerous situation the worst thing you can do is panic. When you're in panic mode you can't access all the information your subconscious is collecting to help you escape the danger. I think training like the moves in this video will help to lessen the panic mode.

@AlcoCargoPig says:

I use my moves on your mum.

@jonesy4588 says:

why slap the ear when you can poke your finger in their eye

@JamesMiller-e8y says:

That was supposed to be bite maneuver

@JamesMiller-e8y says:

Even Mike Tyson use the bike maneuver.

@jamescayton2271 says:

If you try any of that on someone that size , your going to get your butt kicked ,
You should be ashamed of your self for telling some elderly man or women to do that , s@#÷,

@CaptainJackScrapper says:

Casey is very patient with you Matt. 🙂 Great video. Good advice

@MarkGelderland says:

The best defense is the one you do not ever have to use. If you avoid situations that have possibilities of becoming a self defense situation, then you have no issues.

@user9b2 says:

What about a field goal kick right up the legs to the groin?

@BillBanyon says:

The best defense is Ching Ching pow! Hands down👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

@andersistbesser says:

You dont have to be 60 to find those useful

@elvispresley3234 says:

Suggestion, when you show where to eye, ear, foot attack, stop and freeze at the point of contact so we can see where the hell you want us to make contact and with exactly what part of our body to make contact with. :)) thanks

@alir.9894 says:

The first move for self defense for someone 60 and over is to learn how to defuse the situation verbally. Learn how to handle someone's insults, put down's and rage. For that I would recommend "Feeling Good Together" by Dr. Burns. Hitting someone who's bigger or stronger than you if you're 60 years old will surely get you in major trouble as they will definitely hit back a lot harder than what you can possibly do!

@DonnyDonowitzzz says:

Eye jabs are the great equalizer

@Rekles says:

Better be careful doing that ear slap it’s a big windmill swing very easy to block and now the fight is on

@Jimmithy-u4m says:

I tell em com’n Im an old man, leave me alone. NO? Pull out my nine. Empty it slowly walk away

@pete.303 says:

Don’t try the stomp on target move.
You have to be looking there to place your shot correctly, breaking eye contact is not recommended imho

@Steve-l6i1i says:

Stomp with the front foot to maintain balance and kinetic energy like throwing a punch.
