I always back in to every space. If for no other reason you are more likely to be aware of what is immediately around you when parking as opposed to pulling out. Like people walking nearby, other vehicles, etc. It's also easier to get out quickly when facing forward.
It’s almost always better to back into ANY parking space. When you pull up to a space (or garage), you can clearly see everything around you, including suspicious people, if you’re paying attention. When you’re backing out of a space, you can only see what’s behind you. Sometimes you can see people that are walking toward you along the parked cars on either side of you, IF they are taller than whatever is beside you! You cannot see kids, pets, short people, people in wheelchairs, etc. It would be almost impossible to see someone getting ready to ambush you! I can’t even count the number of times that kids have run behind me when I’m backing up! The parents are often distracted, or just too stupid to watch their kids! I’ve also noticed that, for some reason, (stupidity) people will continue to walk behind cars that are backing out of a parking space. They assume that the driver can see them, (and stop for them) which is extremely foolish. I can hardly imagine anything worse than running over a child. Last, but not least, it’s much easier to escape a bad situation if you’re backed in, because all you have to do is throw it in drive and punch it! Thank you for taking the time to make all these videos, John. Take care, and keep up the good work!

The son threw the propane tank towards them at 5:30
Dad was dumb, 0 awareness.
Also the way the perp crashed his head against the tire, might left him paralyzed. Seen these injuries in sport a lot

John if your hair keeps getting longer you're going to end up looking like the creature in the "Alien" movies, with the rear projection.
Looking sharp homie!

Dude came back with the gas tank on fire and tried to throw it under his truck. He likely didnt see his injured father behind it.
4:30 He honestly might have grabbed that just to have some sort of heavy blunt weapon
Looks like a gas bottle he picked up….why? No idea.
damn dude he's your dad don't bounce his head off the road
I'm still adjusting to the Lord Farquad vibes
