I work in a prison and take a lot of hospital escorts. The ER tends to get overrun with people trying to get pain medication. Every now and then I see someone eyeballing my side arm. Iβm usually more concerned that some random crack head is going to try something than I am the inmate trying something.
'…so I then decentralized the individual, while performing a forearm-wrist-pressure-to-the-neck-area technique. The starch quickly exited her Jamies, and she became compliant.'
What's amazing to me is that even though she tried to take that firearm off a fellow Officer they treated her quite humanely.
Compare that to the reactions we unfortunately see here where a citizen simply utilizes their constitutional rights and how a good chunk of our Officers not only display their ignorance but also their ego in their actions. It's sad really.
Surprisingly high proportion of female guards. Looks like 5 of the 7. Not saying there's necessarily anything wrong with that, just wondering if there's a reason or it's just chance.
I see old timers sometimes with a hog leg sticking up and out just calling out to "Come and get it". Yes, we must be careful. Keep the firearm away from suspicious characters.
