The police allowed him to get near the lady with a knife. They should have protected her better. She called the police and locked herself in the bathroom. The police allowed him to go back in the house and kick in the bathroom door. Fail
I have a friend who catches food in the wild by shooting an expandable nylon net at animals, therefor making them incapacitated. Why hasn’t any police department deployed such tactics?
Great de-escalation skills by that officer but I think that law enforcement in general is severely lacking in tactical skills and prowess that would make lethal encounters unnecessary.
The vast majority of police interactions are very positive, especially if you have cooperation in your heart and you’re not doing anything stupid. God bless our law enforcement.

I appreciated the officer’s de escalation skills. But I appreciated even more his effectively using his firearm.
This is just sad. The officer did everything possible.
