Well it's a good thing Capitol police on J6 while being in greater danger showed more restraint. Based on "Comply or get shot" it would have been a blood bath.
I’m going to have to fully state that this was clearly murder. Here is why.
It’s simple physics and unfortunately there is no negotiation. A rigid, prepared body striking about the headlight region will rebound and clear to the side of the Honda Pilot, even if the wheels are aimed to the front(which they weren’t). Being in the centre of the grill is a different story.
This officer had both his hands full and shot one handed. If he was truly in fear of his life he would have dropped all the items in his hands and braced off the vehicle to save his life. The impact, if you can call it that (I’ve seen harder hits in pee wee football), was already happening. It’s too late to shoot to save yourself. In fact shooting her caused her to tense up and accelerate, as it always does.
The only time shooting someone driving at you makes any sense is if that is the only way to stop the threat otherwise a sane sober moral person must get out of the danger zone!!! Sound familiar John?
There were at minimum 3 other officers nearby who could have gone lethal had it been required while the officer in danger should have made every attempt to save his own life.

Why is everyone ignoring the fact there is a car blocking the road, was she suppose to ram that vehicle ? I see he backing off to go around that car , you can clearly see her steering her car to get out of the situation
When Obama deported thousands it was done judicially at detention centers and ports entry, he didn't have roaming squads terrorizing city's using excessive force on every detention, it was done smart under the radar and it was legal.
The officer appeared to be off to the passenger side of the vehicle and was only brought to the front of the vehicle when she reversed and stopped because she had her wheel cranked all the way to the left when she put it in reverse. At that point he was in the middle of the vehicle and he moved one step to the right before the vehicle advanced. She brought him into the “front of the vehicle” position by reversing and rotating the vehicle. When she accelerates, her front tires are spinning on the ice. If she had had traction when she accelerated, she would’ve hit him at a faster rate with more velocity. So, it is clear in my mind that the officer was put in a very bad position due to bad timing, and he was actually struck on the left side of his hip during this incident. You could see as he holstered his weapon that he was limping for a few steps and walking gingerly. Even the mayor admitted on Friday that the officer had been struck by the car.
48:40 she couldn't be more wrong. There are tons of people of every racial background who do not consider the implications of getting involved with all kinds of dumb stuff. Young and old, black white purple and brown, when people get emotional about stuff, they will involve themselves with police interactions, jump into the middle of gang fights, and curse at people with loaded guns and knives.
Speaking as a black guy, some of the black folks I know will get ticked off and rude at the beginning of any police interaction. And some of them are so kind and affable, so aw shucks, police always walk away giving them no ticket and wishing them the best day.
I knew damn well id have to skip 10 minutes in to see the video..we dont need you to over analyze this because its some political bullshit…just show us the damn thing…sry 40 minutes i meant.
So is shooting at driver coming at you will that stop the threat immediately like instant, even if you paralyze the driver the vehicle will not stop instantly at that distance its impossible to stop it, wasting time filming and drawing your weapon seem counter productive to not getting hit or dragged use your very little time to get out the way, its seems to me the shooting was a punishment rather then protecting his life.
Love your work, and I'm sorry y'all felt pressured into a premature video. I hope that, with time to reflect, the driver's intent and the ICE officer's timing between decision to shoot, making the fatal head shot, and his easily sidestepping the vehicle, will be given your usual rigor. Then, hopefully, an analysis of the second and third shots fired though the side window, with civilians and other officers as background. The Federal government's response puts big stink on it, but your analysis of the timing, as better data appears, would be very valuable to many of us. Also, how far did she travel after being shot in the face?

re: lack of due process, due process is the procedure a person receives. its not a legal term its literally the words process and due and the meanings are the same as in the dictionary. for example in 2007 under Obama the due process for someone who crossed the border illegally was getting an immigration hearing at an immigration court from an immigration judge. immigration court is an executive branch thing, the courts are not "real" judicial courts, they are executive functions, the judges iirc don't have to be judicial judges at all, the position is more of an administrative deal. Basically you are brought before a suit and they decide if you go home or stay as a refugee or w/ visa etc w/e. all of this is done under the authority/auspicious of the sec of state (iirc maybe).
So from my (admittedly poor) understanding of the situation, if the Sec of State determines that people who illegally cross the border are to be send back home unilaterally then the due process rights of what one would refer to as "illegals" would be;
Are you an American Citizen? No? Ok sir/madam, please get into the vehicle we are going to send you back to your country of origin now.
I would have to agree, this is what happens when everybody is right and wrong at the same time. But you have to follow the rule of law. The Bible tells us this. There are many things I don't agree with in the world, but I don't confront them with force and anger. I have lived this long through just as dangerous situations and I am still here, because I know when it is time to leave. P.S. Listen to "For What It's Worth" Buffalo Springfield.

When I saw the shooting video I had an immediate opinion…..But. I kept it to myself and was not married to it.
