John, you always say "it's just a deductible" when it comes to vehicles. But you're wrong. Insurance companies only cut you a check for the "auction value" of the vehicle, not what you'd pay in reality. A car worth 30,000, after your deductible, you'll only get 25.5 to 26k. It happened to me.
Still a hell of a lot less than the lawyer and hospital bills you talk about, but it's more like $5000 instead of $1000.
They must have been following him….What are the odds that in less than a minute, these two 🤡🤡 show up, they can hear the engine running and knew the doors were unlocked 🤔. Also, if you are an Uber, Lyft, Pizza delivery driver, any type of job that involves driving, it is a MUST to have a dashcam with "cloud" recording in order to retrieve your footage remotely in case your dashcam gets stolen or obliterated in a severe crash‼️
That is why it is illegal in Australia to leave you car doors unlocked when the vehicle is parked (let alone with the keys on and the engine running!), even if it is sitting in your own driveway or garage. A stolen vehicle can (and most likely be used) for crimes and perhaps even as a weapon. Locking the doors takes 1 second and is everyone's responsibility. Forgetting about it is understandable (we are all humans after all) but leaving it unlocked on purpose because of 'reasons' (can't be bothered, too lazy, tired of crime ??) is unacceptable.
If you're going to be dumb enough to try and give your car away at least be smart enough to not throw your life in for free also. This could have ended entirely different and I am very surprised that he is still alive
Just curious, are pets considered your property? If somebody was stealing my pet, I would have a hard time not pulling a gun on them if it was a dire situation.
godamn that microphone

Someone got a hoody for Xmas!!!
Stupid choices, but pretty gangster tbh
An SUV for a hoodie? Seems like a fair exchange to me.
too much talking…
As a Californian, wasn’t Gumbo a flexible cartoon character with a dog named Poultry?
The last thing the perp expected was a dude in a suit to be clawing at him through a sunroof of a car 😂
It's illegal to leave a car running where I live and insurance will definetely not cover you.
nope. sorry. if you are that much of an idiot to leave your car running AND the doors open/unlocked… you deserve everything coming.

All he HAD to do was turn his car off and lock the doors.
