So true. Some people dont have what it takes to do the job. If the aggressor was threatening the officer with a different kind of weapon, the officer could have paid the last price with his buddy watching.

I would just more often than not You're going to find offices like this in the inner city. The one doing nothing I mean. Cities like Baltimore and DC are so desperate for officers that they'll hire people without the mental makeup or any business being in law enforcement. They just need bodies to fill roll call. I would probably bet for Baltimore you'll find somewhere between 4 and 6 out of 10 officers would have stood next to the vehicle. And I hate to say it but it was a female inner city cop probably closer to 80% would have stood there. Either you're built for law enforcement mentally or you're not. Clearly his partner is not built for law enforcement. If your first reaction to a life-threatening situation is worrying about yourself then you have no business and law enforcement. If you're first reaction is I have a job to do and I have to do it, then you have the right mental makeup. The fear that anyone should have and a wife threatening situation should hit them after, I'll repeat that after the event is over. If hit you before or during then you have no business getting yourself into life threatening situations. Your emotions will have you react poorly and either you will get an innocent person killed or your partner killed or even yourself. And if you get yourself killed who the f cares. But the fact that you put your partner in danger and innocent civilians is absolutely unacceptable. This is no different than the domestic violence video in Baltimore where the woman was screaming and being shot in the officer stood around outside. This is what people in Baltimore learn to expect from their law enforcement. It's an utter disgrace. This one officer did his job but my guess is he's going to be so fed up with the department before long he'll end up leaving. And what will be left is that boat anchor of a partner and another boat anchor riding around together.

Another Black man executed, 2 shots could’ve stopped this guy, not the whole 16 rounds. If was a white guy it would’ve ended differently.
