The Jordan Peterson reference was great, I love his quote and I repeat it time and time again, "A harmless man is NOT a good man… A good man is a very dangerous man who has that under voluntary control."

Excellent video as per usual with you, Nick! I wrote down notes on this from what you presented because lately I've been thinking more and more about my own preparedness which has been severly lacking and this is living in Los Angeles, big city drama with big city problems around every corner, lol. But seriously I've been considering what you've been talking about here and I'm in 100% agreement. Yes alot of folks, even some martial artists think this and present this as a strategy, about letting the attacker throw the first punch while they are in the 'surrender' poster to make it plain to any witnesses or cameras that they are attempting to avoid the fight and so they don't look like the antagonist when they strike but I think that is an unnecessary and dangerous method because after all most cameras don't capture audio and most witnesses are not perfect and only see a small snapshot of the engagement anyway so for example if a guy has a problem with me and says "I'm going to destroy you!" then #1 I'm going to believe what he says is his imediate intention and #2 I AM going to strike first and decisively as best I can, don't care if I'm striking first and I'm not worrying about what happens later because if I mess up there may be no later for me. Anyway you're on my priority list this year or early next to train again with you and your team (trained with you in 2021 I believe it was) and I know I need alot more training in addition to the physical training on my own. Love and respect and I'll see you 100%!
