Police say an armed robbery left a 16-year-old dead on Indy’s far east side near Cumberland. Investigators believe the shooter acted in self-defense. The homeowner’s daughter and her boyfriend claim they were sitting in their car when at least two suspects yanked open the car door and tried to rob them at gunpoint.
