I never really thought about it much before but watching these vids make me realise how stupid those self defence demonstrations are where the "attacker" just passively allows the defender to execute complex movements and then just flops the ground obediently.
I've been training in Krav Maga for about a year. After watching this I'll be switching to a Muay Thai/BJJ gym. This video sort of confirmed all of my doubts in the art.

Moral of the story : Ramsay didn't pay attention to Captain Kravmaga otherwise the technique would have worked.
It is absolutely a walk in the park to disarm 2 gunmen out of a chokehold, even a 3 year old can do it at our kravmaga club 🙂
