Attitude. Skills. Plan.
I think worst case scenario: The shoplifter could easily articulate that he was fearful of death or great bodily harm with a woman advancing toward him pointing a gun. That is why he drew his gun and shot her. Your thoughts? Timo(t-moe) Portland, left coast Huge fan. Often recommend your channel to others. It's been interesting watching you over the years sporting different hair styles and facial hair. The thinner you looks fabulous. Keep up the good work around creating a healthier you.
She won’t be charged because the thief won’t be caught (like usual) and most people would be be upset that an elderly woman was charged for attempting to stop a theft meanwhile the thief isn’t getting in trouble. It’s not a good look for local law enforcement. Yes it was illegal but on the surface it would be messed up to charge her and not him.
2:07 not necessarily a criticism, but kind of a criticism. So let me get this right, you think we should all pay for at least an hours worth of billable time with a unicorn (an attorney on the bar who is also an expert in self defense law) so that we can fully understand the relevant law in our state but… now hear me out, paying for a class in self defense law in the relevant state is not a good law(it’s not, but not necessarily a bad idea either)? Don’t get me wrong, I believe that citizens are able to adequately inform themselves of the relevant laws on self defense and use of force doctrine (not in small part due to the existence of resources such as yours, thank you, and others). I’ll pass.
In fact, I’ll go further out on the limb you are probably holding a chainsaw over. If your average citizen is not reasonably able to educate themselves on these laws and doctrine, those laws and doctrine need to change.
I was just about to ask was she going to face charges for pointing a fire arm at a person that does not have one! I guarantee there looking for him to see he wants to press charges they really do not care about retail theft any longer
Hello defense attorney for Pima county here. If this man did NOT threaten this woman with violence then she should absolutely get charged with at least brandishing a firearm. Remember folks just because you are a elderly man or woman does NOT give you the right to break laws that YOUNGER folks are subjected to FOLLOW. Honestly I’m appalled this woman did NOT get charged we can NOT make this a norm in your society.
If she have a problem she should've called the police.
She should have been arrested. I dont think she was defending her own property or life

Yeah, I'm not drawing on some tweaker stealing bags from some huge, rich, chain store like Ross… Good trigger discipline at least.

Last December around Christmas time i was at my Walmart i saw a guy run out of the store with a cart full of unpaid for toys

She should have smoked him…whether he was stealing or not, whether she was in any danger, whether she even knew the facts or the law….AMERICA !!

Good trigger discipline Grandma. 😂
She’s twice as old as you and doesn’t give a flying you know what, probably better to not mess with her 😂
I don't think the gun was the issue, must have been her grandma perfume that made him walk away
Hey at least she has Finger discipline LOL

I'll bet she regrets doing all that in hindsight.
it shows how fucked up your legal system is when a shoplifter does not care about committing a crime in daylight, and a granny may face chargers, omg
She’s rocking the JHP rounds with the ballistic “Werther’s Original” tip.
