@Valerie-sd5xt says:

Sounds like the apartment manager knew the guy robbing HIS apartment complex and they don’t want to one to make that connection!!!! LOOK INTO IT!!!

@ThisWorldMakesMeSad says:

Imagine losing your home for trying to defend your daughter from a stranger basically at your house, probably owned by people out of touch with reality because they have to much money.

@Butterfly_Bri says:

Wasn’t this place listed as a hazard before. They say the police go to this complex so much, because of murders and robberies. They are upset that help kept himself from being a RIP victim in a danger zone?

@nbtxstlphx says:

I worked there. Sketchy place

@ovoeb says:

it is very unfortunate for him .. he isn't getting evicted for defending himself ..he is getting evicted because he's on government property with a gun ..that is what's really happening ..
government housing properties doesn't allow any firearms on their property..not even if it's to defend yourself

@alexhorton7845 says:

Bruh gonna own the building when an attorney gets done with them. Highly unconstitutional to attempt to restrict folks from a second amendment right.

@crowsnypa2800 says:

People..on the point of tht he in a wheelchair….come onnnnnnnnnn tht thought he was a easy TARGET..open ya eyes

@johnbrown4949 says:

If this is the whole story, where is the common sense. If he defended himself, then he should be able to stay. If he is apart of criminal activity, see you later alligator.

@vthomas2313 says:

People!!! Google the Rules that landlords have to follow when they want federal funding for section 8 housing. They're VERY strict and specific . If not followed they will lose the funding .

@vthomas2313 says:

Section 8 housing is a federally funded program. It specifically says the tenants and visitors can't own or have any weapons on that property. IF the landlords don't enforce that federal rule they'll lose the money for that program.

@pdig6363 says:

I would sue them !!!!!!

@ladyjustice1474 says:

Give you odds they raise the rent on his apartment.

@s.i.john16.33 says:

Landlords don't like police attention to their property. Relationship abuse victims often get evicted because the abuser causes issues and brings attention the landlords don't want. That makes it even harder for abuse victims to have safe housing. These are victim blaming situations.

@freestang6662 says:

They do nothing to keep their residents safe, but punish you for defending yourself. That sums up the city of St. Louis in a nutshell.

@BillyOceanSmokin says:

I hope the young man sues, wheres the probono lawyers at?

@PaulYount-s9w says:

They should have gave him a free month rent!

@Calliope3 says:

Every apt community I've lived in has had a no weapons, no criminal activity addendum to the lease. It's not a house- there are other people adjacent where a bullet could go through their wall or something. That being said, this man is at a disadvantage if he's unarmed in his own community.

@Greyteam4291 says:

Stl is a communist territory.
Stay out of it.

@tracyknowles4680 says:

@PoshMalik says:

@johnwhite7218 says:
